1. The Devil Rides Out (1968)

I first read the book, and thus I thought the movie would be a disappointment, but the only problem with the movie is the pace. The film is like a cut-up version of a 20-hour movie. Yet I adore!

2. Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1973)

I think many see this as a latter-day disaster, but in my book, it is one of the more intellectual compositions on the Frankenstein theme.

A classic. I like most of it, apart from the flashback scene, which is not needed if you are not completely ignorant to the subject.

There is something magical in Freddie Francis' directing! I think this movie brings something new to the whole Dracula epitome. Just that not many people got that.
