Rocky IV (1985)
This may not be good as the earlier films, mostly the first two, when it comes to overall quality and plausibility. But it's still a highly enjoyable installment, thanks to its cheese charm, fast pacing, great soundtrack, and its intimidating foe, Ivan Drago.

And seriously, did it really have to have all of these Razzie nominations and wins, including Worst Actor and Worst Director for Sly Stallone? He may be no Marlon Brando, but at least he tries and has a certain charm to makes him an enjoyable action star.

Also, don't you just miss the mindless and fun cheesefest movies when they were mostly 1 hour and 30 minutes rather than the bloated and boring ones that go nearly or over 2 hours and 30 minutes?

Commando (1985)
This is the ultimate 80's action cheesefest with great over-the-top action and fight scenes, and instantly quotable one-liners. It's worth checking out if you're a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger. But there are flaws present such as the music by James Horner (rest in peace, great composer) can be real unfitting in certain scenes, although it is deliciously cheesy. And there are some scenes that don't make any logic sense or just off-the-wall. Sometimes though, it can be part of the fun.

Giving the Grinch a backstory on why he hates Christmas and the Who's was really unnecessary. As a result, it makes him more of tragic character than a purely mean guy and as well as a designated villain. But what does make the film enjoyable to watch is Jim Carrey's performance.

Newsies (1992)
I first watched this movie in junior high, and I enjoyed it for some of its catchy songs and good dance choreography.

Congo (1995)
Ernie Hudson was enjoyable. But Bruce Campbell was so wasted, as he could have been the lead character instead of Dylan Walsh. He really would have made the movie much more tolerable. Tim Curry's Romanian accent is so fake, but hilarious (No! No!). I wish they didn't have make Amy the talking gorilla that annoying.

Despite the special effects being done by Stan Winston and Industrial Light & Magic, the gorillas still look fake. If the film waited until after Peter Jackson's King Kong (2005) or Rise of the Planet of the Apes, then the gorillas would have looked more real, thanks to the right kind of CGI technology.

Despite all that, I still enjoyed the movie. It really could have been better, though. And I can understand Roger Ebert's positive opinion on it; he gave the movie three stars.

"Stop eating my sesame cake!"

I just love that line and how it's delivered. It's so hilarious. The fact that it is said to Tim Curry is even more funny.

Jean Claude Van Damme was a miscast as an American Guile, there's too many characters cramped in, and the script could have had more polish. But it's the late and great Raul Julia that saved the movie from being a total disaster, as he delivers some of the best lines in the entire movie.

And how could you not laugh or crack or smile when Zangief says "Quick! Change the Channel!"?

It would have been so much better if it was live-action or waited until the motion capture animation is good enough not to reach the uncanny valley effect. But it does have good thrilling scenes and some nice moments.

I haven't seen enough flawed movies that I actually enjoy, but these are the ones I've at least seen.

i'm really surprised that Street Fighter is a guilty pleasure movie for you... i'm sure it must be because your a gamer who played at Street Fighter... it did the same thing for me when i saw some movie scenes of the horrible movie called Doom. : )

Actually, I only played Street Fighter II a few times. But I would sometimes do research on the series. The movie is a guilty to me mainly because of the late Raul Julia as M. Bison. It's the Nostalgia Critic (back when he used to be really funny) that made me want to watch the movie ever since I saw his review.
