Video games helped a lot in when I started studying the English language. If you're really looking for improving your vocabulary and grammar you should consider playing more plot-heavy RPG (like Final Fantasy series) or Adventures (like The Longest Journey franchise from your fellow Northern European developer Funcom).

My favourite games since 1999 :D Im finnish guy, I started playing when I was like 7 years old, english language knowledge grows and now I'm one of my class experts in english. So big thanks to POKEMON BLUE :D
