Great looking list! I've seen #'s 1-5 (#4 Thanks to you, of course!) and fell asleep watching Masque of the Red Death two nights ago. (Not cuz I was bored, but because it was entirely too late to even think about starting a movie, really.) So yeah, I plan on finishing that up soon.
Of those you haven't seen yet, I can't recommend Eyes Without a Face or Rosemary's Baby highly enough. Must sees, plain and simple. Peeping Tom is one I've been meaning to get around to for real a long time now.
I do recommend "Peeping Tom". The Haunting would be at the top of my list. I watched it very late at night when I was all alone in the house... so the environment was prime for scary movies :)
I love NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, PSYCHO, and LAST MAN ON EARTH. The rest it's either been a very long time or I haven't seen them yet. I better make sure to check them out. Cool list.
While it is a very good movie, I've never really considered Cape Fear a horror movie. I would call it a suspense thiller.
The Roger Corman/Edgar Allan Poe movies of the 60s were a hoot. In one of them he adds an element of comedy with Peter Lorre's character, but I am not sure which one it was.
