Bones-Dr. Jack Hodgins
When you are a member of one of the best supporting casts around it's not hard to shine. But for me Jack has always outshone everyone else in the Jeffersonian. He's smart and funny with a caring heart. He took Angela to the park to swing on their first date and cried professing his love for her while buried alive. And if I didn't already like him enough, his promise that "I'm your guy" to Angela when he thought she was pregnant by someone else put me over the top.


Hodgins: I’m nuts about Angela. Over the moon. Stupid in love with her. That’s why I bought her that – that crazy, expensive perfume. Man give you a bottle of perfume like that, it says - it says “I love you”. There. I said it out loud.

Gilmore Girls-Lorelai
I literally grew up with Rory Gilmore. We were only one year apart and I related to her like few other fictional characters have ever come close. But strangely, I watched the show more for her mom Lorelai than I ever did for her. She was a strong independant woman that was quirky and unique and indescribably cool. She is still tops in my character world.


Lorelai: So, not only did you GO to a cop raided party, but you were the cause of the fight that caused the raid!
Rory: Yes...
Lorelai: [singing] Did you ever know that you're my heeero. You're everything I wish I could be!

Die Hard series-John McClane
There is no one more bad ass than John McClane. If I were in danger I would want him on my case.



Matt Farrell: You just killed a helicopter with a car!
John McClane: I was out of bullets.

Dawson's Creek
Pacey Witter was everything I used to think a guy should be. He was funny, handsome, carefree, selfless, and devoted. I would have always taken him over Dawson.


Pacey: You know, for a bright girl, you can be really daft sometimes. Why do you think i came here? I came here to be with you! It's as simple as that. I mean, when you like somebody, proximity is a good thing, regardless of how they feel about you. Or don't, as the case may be.

I stumbled upon Veronica Mars when it was already on it's last leg but there was something about Kristen Bell that made me hooked on her for life. Very few characters have her same vulnerablity and strength and I find it fascinating.


Veronica: I'll be at home. With the only sane member of the Mars family.
Keith: The one who eats from the garbage and keeps bringing me dead birds?
Veronica: That's the one.

Criminal Minds-Dr. Spencer Reid
Crime solving, bad guy catching, speed reading genius Dr. Reid is awkwardly amazing. With his knowledge of random facts and statistics and his amazing heart he sympathises with victims of any type.

As William Thatcher, Heath stole my heart as a naive peasant who wanted to change his stars.

Mission Impossible
I won't lie, I love Tom Cruise. Even though he's crazy and uber intense. And Ethan Hunt is easily my favorite character of his. He's handsome, courageous, intelligent and bad-ass.

Heroes-Sylar
Come on. Who doesn't love a psycho serial killer with depth and conflicting emotions. I love his when he's unsure about who he is and also when he knows that he wants to play in your brain.

Who wouldn't love an adorably dorky guy who has to live a double life because he has all the government's secrets in his head.

10 Things I Hate About You
Kat was my teenage hero. Smart, independent and sure of herself she was a girl who made mistakes and tried to protect her sister from them. She wasn't perfect and that was my favorite thing.

Dirty Dancing
After seeing this movie I wanted Johnny Castle to come teach me to dance. He was so charasmatic and amazingly loyal not to mention talented and gorgeous.

Firefly/Serenity
River Tam can come save my a** any time. If I was in a fight I would want this girl on my side. Graceful and efficient, her fighting was like a vicious dance. She was also amazing at playing someone who's not quite right in the head.

Jack, Jack, Jack. Always seeming shisty but really he would do anything to protect Sydney. Sometimes he was so harsh that I hated him but when he showed how much he cared I couldn't help but love him.

Since he first sauntered into my life as a naked Geoffrey Chaucer, Paul has never failed to entertain me in anything of his I've seen. However I will always hold this role as my favorite of his.

Oh Lucian, how I love you. A complex guy who just happens to be a werewolf, all Lucian wants is revenge for his Sonja.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age
Queen Elizabeth is by far my favorite historical character and I would have rode to the death for her or apparently Cate because after her speech on the horse I was so ready to fight for England, and I'm from the states.

(500) Days of Summer
This was a hard one for me. Since I love Joe in everything. But who doesn't love a heartfelt romantic. Tom just wanted what most people want and found himself in a relationship with someone else who didn't. It's like a role reversal almost. I just wanted to hug him throughout the movie.

Lucky Number Slevin
Slevin is easily one of the funnier characters of non comedic movies. I just love everything about this movie including his delivery of the lines.
Lindsey: What happened to your face?
Slevin: I was using it to break some guy's fist.

Harry Potter
I've been a fan of Mr. Rickman ever since I saw the 1st Die Hard, but there is something so magical about an actor so perfectly bringing a favorite book character to life. He plays Severus Snape even better than I imagined him and Snape has always been my favorite character.

As the loveably clutzy best friend to Lorelai, Sookie St. James held a special place for me as the crazy chef who was always there when they needed her.

Daniel Faraday was such a smart, vulnerable guy that I couldn't help but love him.

The Last Samurai
Ujio is a true samurai. Hard to win over but loyal to the death.
