It didn't work out, lol. Too many DVDs, not enough space for tidy organisation. There's some tentative organisation, though, in the form of "Awesome Action Movies", "Shelf Dedicated to Arnie/Sly/Bruce", "Clint Eastwood section", etc.
LOL, I can imagine that with 700+ DVD's one must spend too much time building a super-huge containment area, which doesn't sound too easy to find or build.
That's pretty bad-ass. How about with comedies and such? just lying around?
I do have a special comedy section, but some comedies apply to more pertinent categories such as "Australian Movies", "Johnny Depp/Tim Burton Shelf", or the coveted "V.I.D. Section" (Very Important DVDs). I find these categories more interesting than more typical genres (though Thriller/Horror, Drama and Classic do have a section).
I've started selling off DVDs though, as I'm replacing them with Blu-rays. So far I only have 100 Blu-rays and I keep them mainly in alphabetical order as it's easier to do so, and there's not enough room to branch out yet (though select Blu-rays do worm their way into the DVD sections, most notably the Depp/Burton shelf).
