Ao no Exorcist

Status: Finished Airing
Rin Okumuro, son of Satan, has decided to fight and kill his demonic father instead of following his path. In order to do so he is going to become a paladin, the highest rank of an exorcist.
To achieve that goal he attends an elite school that trains exorcists.

The show offers a good plot and action as well as wonderful seiyuu which make it worth watching anyway.
Not following the manga's story till the end isn't that much of a problem but it becomes too rushed, that way many questions are left unanswered and new ones are raised.
Yet it has been a brilliantly entertaining show with a perfect mixture of action and comedy. Unfortunately there's no second season in sight yet. :(

Baka to Test to Shōkanjū Ni! (Season 2)

Status: Finished Airing
After the first, hilarious season Yoshi and his friends returned, complete with their summoned beings. Yet this season didn't satisfy my expectations.
It got repetitive and although some relationships were amplified it consisted of too little story and definitely too much exaggerated fanservice but I still enjoyed watching it.

Mirai Nikki

Status: Finsihed Airing in 2012
I didnt know about the manga before but somebody recommended this anime to me based on my preferences so when the first episode aired I just watched without knowing what was awaiting me and WOW! It is amazing! (till now at least)
Mirai Nikki is a story about a boy, Yukiteru Amano, that is forced into a murderous battle royal for the title of "God of Space and Time". All 12 participants possess a diary that predicts a certain future but only one can survive.

The Anime is surprisingly chilly and dark and presents cool characters, fantastic music and great design and animation.
With every episode the series gets more f'd up and more thrilling.

In Tokyo in 2039 a boy called Shu Ouma awakens his powers named "Ability of King" with which he can draw out weapons from the people around him. After he meets the girl Inori Yuzuriha and the terrorist group 'Funeral Parlor' that fights against the government, his quiet, indifferent life style changes drastically.

Yeah, it sounds weird but it's actually quite epic.
Especially because of the interesting characters and the Mechas. It's got some paralleles to Code Geass and that's one of my fave shows so no surprise I like Guilty Crown as well. ;)

The three siblings Shouma, Kanba and Himari go visit the aquarium when suddenly Himari collapses and is already considered gone from this world when a miracle happens. The mysterious "Princess of the Crystal" extends Himari's life in exchange for the Penguin Drum. The two brothers do everything in their might to save Himari and enter a world of twisted fate.

THIS ANIME IS GENIUS. So beautiful and empathic, emotional and hilarious, well thought out and messing with your head. Never disappointing and always holding a new surprise. Creative, individual characters, fabulous animation and design and a perfectly matching soundtrack. And Penguins! Cute little penguins providing a lot of comedy! It has everything a good Anime needs, even more!

Subaru Konoe has been serving for the high school's prinicple's daughter Kanade Suzutsuki as a butler for her whole life.
But one day Kanade's classmate Kinjirou accidentally finds out that Subaru's not a boy as she has simulated.
In order to prevent Subara from being removed from her position nobodoy must find out about her secret.
Too bad Kinjirou's body reacts strangely to females and Subuaru begins to fall in love with him...

This show was...kind of fun but also very distressing.
It ended somewhere in the middle of the story and was once again all about the fanservice. As a fujoshi so I'm not that much into hentai-style fanservice. A little bit doesn't bother me and can occasionally be funny but this was just waaaay too much. The story wasn't compelling, the characters weren't too interesting. In the end it is very forgettable.

Sekaiichi Hatsukoi Season 2

Status: Finished Airing
The story about the Shojo-editors of Marukawa Shoten continues. Onodera begins to realize more and more how he feels about Takano and the 'doki-doki' and 'Aw, how adorable!' moments are piling up. The second story of Chiaki is unfolding into a wonderfully thrilling love triangle. The third story of Yukina & Kisa was kind of been neglected this season. Seems kind of unbalanced but I don't mind at all because it did seem finished.

This is one romantic and gripping Anime that made my heart skip and paid off the fangirl in me. (It was as brilliant as the first season if not better!)

In a postwar Tokyo the 'Deafeated Detective' Shinjuurou Yuuki and his mystical assistant Inga go looking for the most difficult crimes to tackle. So does the country's monopolist Rinroku Kaishou. Both search for 'the truth' for the their own reasons which are still unknown.

I haven't watched a Tantei Show in a long time since Detective Conan, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro and Tantei Gakuen Q. Un-Go definitely isn't as detailed concerning the solving of the cases. From time to time they seemed quite rushed. But yet there's something intriguing about it. It's the undiscribable atmosphere and the inventive characters which kept me watching and as the series continued I got more and more curious about the actual plot. In the end the latter didn't disappoint but there are still many left questions left unanswered.

Working'!! (Season 2)

Status: Finished Airing
I loved the first season and couldn't wait for the second one. Wagnaria 2 actually exceeded my high expectations. Every episode of the Slife of Life Show brings me joy.
Just when I think one episode's humour has just reached perfection I catch myself spitting out my drink at the next episode due to my laughter. And I rarely laugh out loud when watching something. Not just the humour is great but there are also new characters and the balancing of character appearances in general has improved.
Sadly the series has ended without any real relationship development. That's why I really hope they're going to make a 3rd season. I don't know how I will survive the next year without the regular dose of Wagnaria! :(

The World God Only Knows Season 2

Status: Finished Airing
The almighty "God of Conquest" returns for more 'Babe Hunting' in Real Life. Now there's not just the earth's females falling for Keima but also another Spirit Hunter from Hell - Elsie's friend Haqua.

The charm of the series has remained and I enjoyed watching it a lot but in my opinion it was way too short. I feel unfulfilled, I want more Keima-kun.
Yes, I'm demanding a 3rd season! There's still enough material in the manga to use!

Kimi to Boku

Status: Finished Airing in 2012
The recently aired 'Slice of Life'-Anime is about 4 childhood friends and one half-japanese transfer student that joins their circle of friends. Together they live their everyday life which always has something new in petto for them.

The genre of Slice of Life might seem boring to people but actually it's very enjoyable and can be kind of addicting. This one is definitely worth watching not only because of the fine humour but also because of the soothing effect and beauty it radiates. The characters are intersting and loveable since they provide unique traits and seiyuu fittingly chosen for them.
