1. Baccano! (2007)
For me this was a great series from start to finish. It has action, drama, humor, with a lil dark but full story. Only bad thing I think I could say about this anime is it was to short. But it tops my list for keeping me wanting to watch the next episode as soon as the one I was on ended. The characters have strong backgrounds and the plot doesn't keep you feeling like your missing something every time there is a character focus switch.

2. Black Lagoon (2006)
Black Lagoon...Great show with strong plot and character development. Plenty of action, with some drama and humor. The action can get pretty epic, as the plot advances the action only gets better along with it. I mean what other anime have you seen a boat take out a helicopter!?!? Beside that, the characters are very likable, and some leave you wondering about there true motives. As the series progress the epicness follows along. All leading up to the final series which its 6 episodes will leave you filling like you have fulfilled something major you aimed for in life. The story tends to get a lil dark, but that makes it much better.

3. Samurai Champloo (2004)
A anime worthy of being at the top of any anime list. The rivalry between two of the three main chars is always ongoing. Leading to many epic sword fights that leave you wanting more, but not for long cause it will give you more. The story has a lot of action, along with slight amount of drama, and back up by a hefty dose of humor. This anime isn't as dark as most on the list, but it deserves its spot. A journey that ends the best way possible, leaving a kinda sad feeling inside you.

4. Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion (2006)
One of the most recent animes I have watched. Its just amazing from start of season one, to the end of R2. The plot may keep you wonderin at times, and the ending of the first season leaves you only wantin to start R2 right away. With R2 ending with you hoping you might just so happen find a 3rd season. The plot is strong, but at times it may be dull to some. Its a anime I loved through and through. Along with the growth of the characters through out the series you may find your self dreaming about what you think will come next while waitin to wake up and watch the next episode.

5. Death Note (2006)
Pretty good anime, dark and suspenseful. The plot is pretty good, and the chars grow along with it. Light will use just about anyone to get to his long term goal, with his new found ability starts to change his personality. Who is to say if its for the better or not, well us the viewers are! Is Light really a good person? It depends on how you see him. Along with the series, there are a few Live action movies to watch along with it.

6. Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)
For being a child series this show is pretty great. It is full of action, drama, and humor. From the Aang that only knows air bending all the way to after he accomplishes his goal he will have you rooting for him the whole way. It probably deserves a higher spot, but I just cant decide what show above that isnt equal to it.

Re-watching to get the story again as it has been long from last time I seen it all the way through in order.

10. Soul Eater (2008)
A show that helped pass the time when I was extreamly board. Not the best of shows, but its decent. Can make you laugh while being able to enjoy some the fight scenes. It could have been better, but it was what it was. Not something I would highly recommend.

11. Afro Samurai (2007)
A short series, followed up with a movie. This series is...odd? Its not what you might expect from something with Samuel L Jackson as the leads voice. From the follower of Afro, to the one with the object of his whole journey Afro is always true to what he wants. The art might be different for some, but if you go along with it, you just might find a show you want to watch. Along with the plot the character growth is pretty shallow, but its only a few episodes long. Followed up with the movie, its a pretty decent show.

12. Bleach (2004)
This show...what can I say about it...The plot is interesting to a small point, the action sucks, and the main char is always getting some op power up after he gets beat, the show pretty much is crap. If you want to get into bleach go for the manga, its better then the show I find. I wouldn't recommend people to watch this, but its one the few I have seen so I put it on here. This is one show that will be near or on the bottom of my list for ever, out of 1-10 rating I would give it a 2.

My favorite anime you haven't seen are Monster, Cowboy Bebop (directed by the guy who made Samurai Champloo), Mushi-Shi, Paranoia Agent (made by the director of Paprika), and Fooly Cooly.

Monster is a psychological thriller like Death Note. I recommend reading this synopsis of the first three episodes, and if you're interested you can watch the dubbed series on YouTube for free.

Ahh that reminds me, I have seen Cowboy Bebop, and Flcl I guess I should add them, whats Mushi Shi and Paranoia agent about? I have seen some Monster eps on sy fy when they played it, but it seemed like it was long and drawn out for my taste.

I also cant seem to find FLCL to add to my list. Any idea why?
Ohh, I can right click it and read what there about. Parinoa agent is a show I have seen long ago most the way, but I couldnt ever remember the name of it to actually watch it all in order thanks for putting that!

Paranoia Agent is a surreal psychological thriller with many seemingly disparate characters connected in a revealing way in the last episodes; the show is enjoyable without knowing until the end that the events of the show are a metaphor for post-war Japan.

Mushi-shi is a fantasy anime, set around the 18th century, about a man who's a master at dealing with mushi, the supernatural micro-organisms living inside everyone. The description for Mushi-shi might seem long and 'drawn out', but it certainly isn't; it's wonderful.
