Dr. Brackish Okun



Science: Okan is the head researcher of Alien life forms in Area 51's mammoth laboratory.
Madness: A self confessed recluse, Okan gets easily excited about his research, he is so consumed by the alien he loses his compassion for man.

"This is the vault. Or as some of us like to call it: The Freak Show. "

"Mr. President! Wow! This is... what a pleasure. As you can imagine, they... they don't let us out much."

Dr. Emmett Brown



Science: A freelance inventor and repairman, the Doc holds a PHd in Physics but is a master of all sciences. Although most of his inventions prove unsuccessful, his most famous success is adaptation of a DeLorean into a time machine.
Madness: The Doc is absent minded and a tad erratic. He isolates himself somewhat from the modern world and delivers much of his dialogue in a wide-eyed and over enunciated manner.

"I'm sure that in 1985 plutonium is available in every corner drugstore, but in 1955 it's a little hard to come by."

"Look. There's a rhythmic ceremonial ritual coming up."

Dr. Seth Brundle



Science: A research scientist, employed by Bartok Sciences. He invented "Telepods", transporters which transfer matter between two pods.
Madness: Brundle is eccentric and obsessive in his pursuits, however this is nothing compared to the unfathomable changes in body and mind he undergoes as he begins to mutate.

"I'm becoming something that never existed before. I'm becoming... Brundlefly. Don't you think that's worth a Nobel Prize or two? "

Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Raymond Stantz & Dr. Egon Spengler



Science: The three Docs are on a research fellowship at Columbia University, studying Parapsychology.
Madness: After having their research grant terminated, they set up a "professional paranormal investigations and eliminations" service..namely, The Ghostbusters. Ray and Egon are both obsessive in their academic exploits, while Ray represents a more flippant and eccentric side.

Dr Ray Stantz:" You know, it just occurred to me that we really haven't had a successful test of this equipment."
Dr. Egon Spengler: "I blame myself."
Dr. Peter Venkman:"So do I."
Dr Ray Stantz:" Well, no sense in worrying about it now."
Dr. Peter Venkman: "Why worry? Each one of us is carrying an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back."

Edward Nigma



Science: A researcher at Wayne Enterprises who develops a device to beam television directly to peoples brains.
Madness: After being shunned by Bruce Wayne, Edward adopts the persona of The Riddler and vows to have revenge. The Riddler has severe OCD, explained more in the comics, he feels compelled to leave clues at the scenes of his crimes.

"Stickley! I'm having a breakthrough! And a breakdown? Maybe! Nevertheless, I'm smarter. I'm a genius. No, several geniuses! A gaggle! A swarm! A flock of freakin' Freuds! Riddle me this, Fred! What is everything to someone and nothing to everyone else? Your mind, baby! And now mine pumps with the power of yours!

Science: Weapons and strategy expert, Physicist.
Madness: Strangelove suffers from alien hand syndrome, in which his right hand occasionally attempts to strangle him or give a Nazi salute.

"It would not be difficult, Mein Fuhrer. Nuclear reactors could... I'm sorry, Mr. President... nuclear reactors could provide power almost indefinitely."

Dr. Frankenstein



Science: Natural science/ alchemist.
Madness: Decided to make a companion out of the disembodied parts of corpses.

"Dangerous? Poor old Waldman. Have you never wanted to do anything that was dangerous? Where should we be if no one tried to find out what lies beyond? Have your never wanted to look beyond the clouds and the stars, or to know what causes the trees to bud? And what changes the darkness into light? But if you talk like that, people call you crazy. Well, if I could discover just one of these things, what eternity is, for example, I wouldn't care if they did think I was crazy."

Dr. Jekyll



Science: A medical doctor who spends his spare time experimenting with medicines/ potions.
Madness: Discovers a potion which disassembles the good from the evil within a person, becomes addicted to his alter ego which thrives on satisfying primal urges. A reign of terror ensues.

Jekyll:"Can a man dying of thirst forget water? And do you know what would happen to that thirst if it were to be denied water?"

Hyde: "Think before you decide, I tell you! Do you want to be left as you are, or do you want your eyes and your soul to be blasted by a sight that would stagger the devil himself?"

Science: A prominent physiologist, who is driven out of London after performing some dubious vivisections.
Madness: Moreau decides a buy an Island and begin experiments on animals with the aim of turning them into humans, leading to a monstrous race of human/animal half breeds.

"Mr. Parker, do you know what it means to feel like God?"

Science: Neurosurgeon and natural scientist.
Madness: Frederick inherits his grandfathers castle, after years of trying to live down his family name, he discovers his grandfathers old notes on reanimation techniques and resolves to follow the process himself.

"You have to remember that a worm... with very few exceptions... is not a human being".

Science: Inventor/ natural scientist
Madness: Parodying Frankenstein, Flinkelstein creates a being, namely Sally. However in a move unlike the original, Finkelstein intends her to be his doting slave for eternity.

"That's twice this month you've slipped deadly nightshade into my tea and run off."

Science: Ian Malcolm: Mathmatician and chaos theorist.
Hammond: CEO of InGen, spearheaded dino-dna extraction.
Madness: The real issue is who is the mad scientist here? The person who decided to genetically engineer dinosaurs, or the guy who repeatedly returns to the park? Perhaps both.

Madness: Enjoys cutting open skulls and removing the brains of innocent muppets.

Science: A professor of Chemistry.
Madness: Fed up with being fat an unsuccessful in love, lump invents a potion to turn him into the smooth-talking and arrogant Buddy Love.

"Who you think you talkin' to, Sherman Klump? Man, if you ever talk to me like that again, I'll kill you. And I don't mean it as euphemism, I'm gonna literally kill you. I'm gonna strangle you and cut off your air supply until you pass away."
