JJ Burnel from The Stranglers, Klaus Floride from Dead Kennedys, Martin Glover from Killing Joke and Paul Raven from Killing Joke. Nice list, bass players are almost always under-rated.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea (Michael Peter Balzary), you must add him. Not the biggest fan of the the band, but oh God, just listen his grooves in "Californication" or "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie", or write 'Flea bass solo' to the YouTube. Metallica's former bass player Cliff Burton should be on the list, and don't you miss grandpa called Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell).
