1. Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011)
Funny sort of buddy comedy. After some really bad movies Steve Carell manages to bring his 40-year old virgin style back. Ryan Gosling makes an stylish performance with Carell as they pick up women from bar´s. Stone, Moore etc.. complete the cast. Great way to end year 2011 and it has been an mixed-up year. Lots of bad but few good movies . See ya next year and check this comedy out.

2. The Big Noise (1944)
I love these Laurel & Hardy movies. They are something arent they. This one just wasnt that normal fun. It had some funny parts but nothin seriously funny. Blu-ray really offers nice selection now and it brings these old ones to life again.

3. Bronson (2008)
Another strong performance from Tom Hardy. This is more artistic and Refn directs Hardy as Kubrick did with McDowell in Clockwork Orange. Hardy´s performance through the film is perfect. He is so silent and usually only shouts to everyone. Refn showed his good music selections also in this like he did in Drive. Very violent movie nevertheless. But enjoyable.

4. Warrior (2011)
Man was this a powerful and emotional film. One the best film´s i´ve seen in this year. Tom Hardy & Joel Edgerton make some of the best on-screen teams in recent years. After watching this im not suprised that it has created some Oscar buzz already. Now that MMA fights are so popular this could very well be the Rocky for our new genaration. Nick Nolte is also great as an old boxer who has his own demons to fight with. Haven´t seen much of Gavin O´Connors other films but im very interested of him right now. This also makes Hardy´s coming attraction as the villain Bane in Dark Knight Rises even more interesting. If someone is gonna give Batman an asswhoppin. It´s gonna be him. Watch this movie. U wont disappoint.

5. Cowboys & Aliens (2011)
Just as i expected. Nothing suprising but just good looking scifi western. Aliens are always a bonus but in this one a little letdown. Also hundreds of clichés that would make a old man cry. Daniel is looking tough, Harrison is angry and old. Script is awful, directing not so good either. Well at least it looks and sounds good. Skip this one will u??

6. Fright Night (2011)
Fun remake to watch. Colin Farrell might be just a moneymaker for this film but Anton Yelchin and David Tennant surely make the most out of it. Haven´t seen the original but i can bet that this is more popcorn than it. Usually Hollywood ruins these type of movies but i can surely say that i enjoyed it.

9. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Boring and mindless effort to make Captain America look like new age Indiana Jones. CGI is poor from time to time and the explosions are too BIG!! all the time. Chris Evans can be good Captain for a while but that doesnt last long. Clearly this Marvel saga has taken its dive to bottom and the hole Avengers thing looks even more boring. Too much good characters to be putted in the same film but i suppose that was only a matter of time. Well u never know put u can only hope for the worst. Joe Johnston still can´t direct a decent movie.

10. Drive (2011)
Ryan Gosling is one hell of an actor. Cool, funny and talented. In this film he makes those all count. Drive is by far the best movie i´ve seen this year. It´s raw, exciting and punch in the face. Soundtrack is awesome with some electro pop mixed with miami vice style directography. U must see this film.

11. The Italian Job (1969)
Solid British film with entertaining car scenes and wonderful acting. I still think that the remake has some parts that are better but this has classic status and that why it is so good and fun to watch.

12. Cross of Iron (1977)
Sam´s mental slow motion war ballet show´s the true sign of soldiers when they crack up in the battle. Haunting scenes and great editing makes this war movie one of the best of all time if just wanna live with Peckinpah and his perverted vision.

After Bugsy i was so enjoyed by Warren Beatty that i had to watch more of his movies. This is no exception from his stantard. Warren Delivers with such a class acting. Very well directed, written and acted with such great supporting names like James Mason and Charles Grodin. U´ll enjoy this film and even better to watch it with your ladyfriend.

15. Bugsy (1991)
Very powerful and striking motion picture about an idea about a place where people can enjoy and have the luxury off fame and fortune. Warren Beatty and Annette Benning make their best roles on the screen as Bugsy Siegel and Virginia Hill. Their love/hate relationship is wonderful to follow. Memorable supporting roles are filled with Harvey Keitel, Ben Kingsley and Elliot Gould. One of the best movies from 90´s.

16. Munich (2005)
Beautiful, sad and haunting film about retribution and vengeance for the events that occurred at the 1972 Olympics. Eric Bana leads the group who are assigned to take out the 11 men who were responsible for those events. Spielberg directs with pure talent that we have seen now for decades. The end is a bit an lowdown part of the movie but nevertheless it is a great story.

19. Fast Five (2011)
Another edition of some fast & furious driving. This one is over 2hrs long and that really shows. Maybe 20min less would be better next time. More old characters involved now and that is actually a good thing. Where the fourth movie of this series was pointless this keeps u entertainted for almost the 2 hrs time. Lots of driving and The Rock also brings more to the series by hunting down our heroes. Good action scenes and precision driving. Well delivered summer movie and more to come.

20. Thor (2011)
Marvel introduces another member of the Avenger´s. Thor the god of thunder and the son of Odin himself. Filled with his warrior rage and fury he try´s to settle the score with there old enemies when there planet is attacked only to be banned by his father and betrayed by his closest friend from the planet of Asgard. He is sent to earth and taken away his powers. Now he must find a way back and destroy those who doublecrossed him.

This Avengers really is confusing. He lives in another "realm" but he also drinks beer like a normal human being. He´s funny and all those things that Iron Man already showed us. Nothing new except the outer planets and some cool characters. Kenneth Branagh really has not got the touch anymore. He can direct a solid film but he´s no action maker. The only scene where a little felt some Marvel is the scene where Thor try´s to take his hammer again. At this scene u see some fanboy shit that i am not gonna reveal. I myself found rooting for Thor just like somebody else in the same scene. U´ll see. But in the end this movie is quite average and i really hoped for more. Maybe Iron Man was my thing more.

Chris Hemsworth does a great job as Thor and veteran Anthony Hopkins delivers as usual in the role of his father. Mystery character Loki played by Tom Hiddleston also makes an interesting outing. Well definitely hear from him a lot more in the future years. In the end this movie is just normal popcorn and u dont find many scenes to remember when u finish the film. Well Avengers is next in line and Captain America coming soon on Blu-Ray. That is actually the first Marvel thing that im looking very forward to.

22. The Kiss of Evil (2011)
The first of many Vares films that are coming out this year and the next. First detective tryout and i think this is better than the 2 first ones. More to the point and not so cliche worthy performances.

23. X-Men: First Class (2011)
An decent X-Men movie that opens up the story and the fight between mutants and human. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender make great honour to Professor X and Magneto. Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen can be proud. Kevin Bacon also makes an interesting villain although his powers are so little seen on screen. What a pity. Matthew Vaughn delivers with normal popcorn style and i look closely what the Hollywood will bring us in the next X-Men lineup.

24. Predators (2010)
(Rewatch) No points dropped or raised

Still is the best predator movie that has come out since the original. Only thing that didnt satisfy me as a predator fanboy was the fact that Rodriquez too cheap aftermark could be seen on effects and poor CQI from time to time. Still the great suspense was built by great characters like Brody´s Royce and the comeback of classic predator with the original music brought back to life. Even a wiff of Alien was close when the group is on the Noland´s old hideout.

25. The Experiment (2010)
This is remake of the old "Expriment" of human behaviour under stress and lost of civil rights. Great character actors Brody and Whitaker makes this movie decent enough to watch it. Nothing really special but shows how fast things can escalate when u put people in cages.

26. Limitless (2011)
First Bradley Cooper film where i did not feel to sudden impulse of throwing up. I just dont like his acting. But in this he makes an exception. The story is good but looses some ground in the middle when u realize what is going to happen after all. Glad to see Robert De Niro doing his version of Gordon Gekko. Directing and all this fast forward editing was brilliantly done but that doesnt save this film and its flaws. Its full of plot holes and cliches. Still a decent movie and the first really a "GOOD" film that i have seen this year.

27. Jackass 3 (2010)
The boys are back with the same shit that they have been doing now over a decade. I think this is the last hurraa and some of the thing they do actually are quite funny and painful to watch. That in mind this film shows how these boys have allways been the best of the genre. Popcorn movie at its best.

30. Priest (2011)
Scott Stewart has made an entertaining scifi/horror and he improves a lot from his debut Legion. Paul Bettany is solid priest whos trying to get her brothers daughter back from the vampires. Cam Cigandet and Maggie Q support him along the way when they meet the Black Hat and his crew of vampires its fight until the very end and some more. No man´s land is beautiful and there´s is some wiff of Blade Runner in the beginning. Also the comic style opening is cool.

31. The Mechanic (2011)
Decent action film. Statham and Foster are good in their roles but it seems that this is missing something. Although this is vengeance film and all more shooting would have been better. Statham truly is one of the few pure action stars around anymore.

32. Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010)
Its everything that Banksy said in the documentary. Guetta did not play by the rules of making art. But then again there are no rules in art. Maybe he got lucky when he bumped into street art and discovered this underground world, but it doesnt matter. He is a bird in his own words and making art finally came an obsession and a lifeform for him. Some people has said that this is a hoax and prank pulled by Banksy. Who knows. And also the "so-called-art" that Guetta makes is totally photoshopping and copying famous images/characters/icons. My friend does that also and although its not legal its sure is beautiful when somebody does in style. Great documentary and i strongly suggest that u watch this piece of art and insanity.

33. American Splendor (2003)
Its excellent and accurate film about one man´s struggle with life and his compulsive disorder. The film is done greatly with graphic novel style of directing. Paul Giamatti and Hope Davis make an wonderful acting job. Suprised that Paul didn´t get and Oscar nominee for this one.

34. Drive Angry (2011)

35. The Ghost Writer (2010)
Great political thriller with wonderful actors and solid film making by the master Polanski himself. Its like Chinatown all over again with different perspective and that was this films problem. Its like i´ve seen all this and i already know what was gonna happen. And u know what. I was right the hole time.

The only that made me feel bad was that i only watched this movie until 10 years when it came out. One the funniest and most interesting movies that has ever come out from French soil. Characters, script, music, dialogue and the funny moments make u laugh and laugh all over again.

37. Running Scared (2006)
Paul Walker cant get rid off his Fast & Furious character by yelling to everyone. Plot is so thick that and characters so unreal cliche dirtbags quoating John Wayne and Al Pacino. Directing and script is also full of unnecessary scenes and moments. I also hate kids who try to be tough and hero´s by not listening what their parents say to them. Little bastards.

Keanu and the rest cast make this battle between good and evil really fun. Really good looking action with funny characters and punch-lines. Keanu maybe still be on the Matrix mode on this one but under Francis Lawrence´s direction it doesnt matter.

Very well directed movie shows why Fincher should be doing only this genre. Not them Social Network or Benjamin Button drama shit. Jodie Foster and "Ms. Twilight" Kristen Stewart act very well. Forest Whitaker, Jared Leto and Dwight Yoakam make an interesting group of bad intensions. Suspence is built with nice slowmotion scenes and by great cinematography. If i get rich and old i also want a panic room built for my precious home.

Such amazing diversity in your moving viewing and I love it! I could agree with you more about The Green Hornet, Due Date, and Takers. Those three aforementioned films had potential, but just wound up being almost Saturday night snooze fests. Black Dynamite, on the other hand, is going to be in my Top 25 films of all time when I ever get to compiling it!
