Summary:
A young man seeks the love of his life by playing on the show "Who wants to be a millionaire". What I like: It is the most cultured, best performed, greatest love movie made in quite a long time. Extraordinary music. What I don't like: Nothing whatsoever. Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
Tristan is, for some reason, in love with a high class girl who, every night, eagerly waits for another boy to come knocking at her window. In order to prove his love to the girl, Tristan crosses the city's wall to bring the girl a falling star. Little does he know that an evil prince and an evil witch are both after that star too. What I like: Robert Deniro, the humor, the theme, the visuals. What I don't like: too many characters for my taste, the story doesn't flow as smooth as it could flow. Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
After Ben Thomas comes alive out of a car accident that killed his wife and six other strangers in a bus, he decides to save the lives of 7 truly good people to make up for the lost ones. What I like: Inspiring story, Will Smith did a good job, Rosario Dawson is incredible. What I don't like: A little too sad and gives you the blues for some reason, the "puzzle" story effect wasn't well done here, the scenes with his deceased wife/fiancee were a bit unnecessary. P.S.: by "puzzle" story effect I mean how you have to collect the bits in the movie to understand or else just wait till the end. Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
Well, basically, it's about how the Wolverine discovers his powers as a young boy and then refuses to use them for evil causes as a man. What I like: Very entertaining with all the action, the humane side which is there in all x-men movies in my opinion. What I don't like: Too many fights between Wolverine and his brother, love story too cliche (lover killed, seeking revenge? Too old). Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
A Hollywood dog cast in a "superdog" series is mistakingly moved outside of the filming set and, mistaking all the visual effect to be real powers, he tries to use them to get back to his owner on the set. What I like: Humor and the story has new ideas. What I don't like: Not very entertaining as other cartoons and not as inspirational either. Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
A racist veteran who served in Korea lives in a neighborhood mostly inhabited by blacks and Hmongs. Gradually, he is drawn to become parts of their lives. What I like: Great story, good performance from the young actors. What I don't like: Eastwood's constant roaring and being tough, dialogue is weak. Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
A 19-year-old computer geek/genius avenges his father's death's exploitation by broadcasting his murders to millions of viewers online who take part in speeding the deaths of the victims by viewing the videos. What I like: Great performances, good theme. What I don't like: Too much disgusting violence, terrible ending because, for goodness sake, the boy is only 19 and he was clearly suffering some post-traumatic problem. Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
A young accountant learns that his father is an assassin and has just been killed, and he is chosen to assassinate the man who killed his father. But it all goes wrong, of course. What I like: The guy's performance was surprisingly good. What I don't like: Angelina Jolie, the story makes no sense (fate? wtf?). Jazzie's rating:
Summary:
Benjamin button is born as a baby is an old man's body. After his mother dies giving birth to him, the father leaves him on the steps of a retirement house where he is cared for by the care-giver. As time passes by, Benjamin grows younger. What I like: I think this is the first time ever that I see Brad Pitt actually acting, Cate Blanchett's performance, Effects/makeup which made things look very real. What I don't like: The story is too fantastical and many claimed quotes had nothing to do with the story, the last 1/3 of the movie was very disturbing. Jazzie's rating:
What I like: Humor, Anne Hathaway, story not too bad, the little elf character.
What I don't like: dialog is a bit cheesy sometimes, not a significant experience. Jazzie's rating:
What I like: All performances, dark humor, unavoidable sentimentality, soft action, inspiring emotions.
What I don't like: A little slow at times. But that's vintage I suppose. Jazzie's rating:
What I like: All performances, perfect representation of chaos, unavoidable sentimentality, soft action, inspiring emotions.
What I don't like: A little brutal on the soul in preparation to the ultimate lesson in the third part. Jazzie's rating:
What I like: Al pacino, Diane keaton, Vincent Corleone's character, unavoidable sentimentality, soft action, inspiring emotions, the way this part truly completes the story.
What I don't like: That it had to end, Sofia Coppola's terrible performance, nobody acted except for Al Pacino, diane keaton, and Andy Garcia. Jazzie's rating:
What I like: Perfect performances, very entertaining love story, humor humor humor, PARIS.
What I don't like: Nothing whatsoever. Jazzie's rating:
What I like: Gerard Butler and Hillary swank make a great duo, all performances were brilliant, Humor is unique and entertaining, love story is different and very heartwarming, a very cozy movie all in all, incredibly hot men!
What I don't like: Um, I have to think about that. Maybe sometimes it was cheesy? But it's Hillary Swank. So, really nothing. Jazzie's rating:
