I wanted more, so much more. The only thing that justified this movie's existence for me was Rooney Mara's Lisbeth and, to be fair, the few details that the original changed from the book and this movie didn't. Including Lisbeth. I want to watch the next 2 movies for Fincher/Mara's Lisbeth and this came as a total surprise.

Not quite sure what to think about this. Some parts were great, some were... just not sure what the intent was. I can't remember another movie with such casual magical realism though, so that's a plus.

Definitely interested in Lucía Puenzo's collaboration with Inés Efron in XXY.

The plot was a mess. The editing was awful and only made the weaknesses of the plot more apparent. I still have no idea if this took place over a week or a month, but I also no longer care.
