I loved this movie. This was Brad Pitt's best performance in many years. The rest of the cast was also all great. I was hooked from the beginning.

This was the last of the Varg Veum films. The last one so far at least. I think there are more books so there will probably come more movies as well, but if this is the last one i'm fine with that. This was another just okay movie. It had a pretty good story, but the ending was very predictable and cliched. I saw it coming a mile away. As for this film series, i liked it , but i'm glad this is the last one. I think i was just getting bored with it by now.

Finally a really great Tim Burton film again. I really loved this. All the characters and their design were fantastic. My dog is also named Sparky so that probably made this film even more emotional. Apart from the ending feeling like a bit of a cop out, i really loved this film.

I have loved all of Judd Apatow's previous directed movies, but this was just boring. I got a few laughs out of it here and there, but that is far from enough when your movie is over two hours long and is filled with useless and unfunny scenes that could have been cut. This could easily have been a 80 minute film. Maybe it's because i'm not a 40-year old married man living in LA, but i just did not care about these people and their problems. They are having money problems, but they live in a fucking mansion with a giant pool, two cars and everyone in the family seems to have an ipad and an imac and an iphone and all that expensive bullshit. How am i supposed to care about their money problems when they live like that? This movie is also filled with really awkward and out of place improv. Every single character in this film is a bad comedian for some reason even when it makes no sense. Knocked Up was brilliant, but i did not like this movie at all.

Daniel Day-Lewis really stole the show here. He was almost too good for the film. Every time he was not on screen i just felt bored and was just waiting for him to come back on screen. Not to say that everyone else was bad, far from it, but when Abraham Lincoln was on screen, that is all i saw. When for example Thaddeus Stevens was on screen, i saw Tommy Lee Jones playing Thaddeus Stevens. He did a great job as well, but he did not become the character like Daniel Day-Lewis did.

I fucking LOVED this film! This is an action fans wet dream come true. This made the first one look like an episode of Sesame Street. I don't know where to start here. Well, my favorite action hero of all time is in this, Jean-Claude Van Damme. To get to see him on the big screen for the first time was fantastic. He was such a great villain. I would have liked to see him as one of the good guys better, but he really was the stand out here as the bad guy so i guess he made the right choice when taking the bad guy role after all. He was a real psycho in this. He gave a great performance as well. It's not gonna top his performance in JCVD, but it was really fun and he pulled it off like a champ. So much better than the boring 'guy in a suit' villain role Eric Roberts had in the first one. Van Damme also had an epic fight scene with Stallone at the end. They really pulled no punches in that one.

His main henchman was also great. He was played by the very underrated action guy Scott Adkins. I loved seeing him on the big screen as well. His fight with Jason Statham was pretty great as well. Chuck Norris, who i usually don't like that much, was also pretty good here in his small cameo role. He also told a pretty funny Chuck Norris joke. As for the Expendables team, they all did great as well. Dolph Lundgren was the show stealer here. He was hilarious and badass at the same time. I liked him much better as part of the team than the traitor role he had in the first one. Jet Li was just in the film for the opening action scene, and he is never seen or heard of again. That was a little odd. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis get in on the action as well this time and it was fantastic. Arnold still got it after all these years. The new guy on the team, Liam Hemsworth, did a fine job too, even if he did feel a little out of place with all these old action veterans. I think Van Damme got himself a new generation of teenage girls hating him now. After he killed Liam i just heard a group of girls scream out 'NOOOO!' I guess he was the only reason they were watching this film. That was pretty funny.

Overall this was a fantastic action film from beginning to end. I sat there with a smile on my face the whole time. Seeing all my favorite action stars in one film all kicking ass really was a childhood dream come true. I am forever thankful to Stallone for pulling this together. I'm gonna have to watch this again in theaters at lest one more time. It was so much fun. If there is one minor little complaint i have, it's that Van Damme was not in it enough. His role did feel a little small. I really wanted to see more of his crazy character. But that is all i can think off. If you are in any way a fan of action film, do yourself a favor and watch this on the big screen. It was balls to the walls fun!

Ben Affleck has gone from one of my least favorite actors to one of my favorite directors working today. He is even a much better actor these days too. This guy is three for three so far. I'm really looking forward to his next projects now.

I didn't really think i was gonna like this film that much, but i fucking adored it. This is definitely the biggest surprise of the year for me. The main character in this film was just like me in high school. Hell, even now i feel a little bit like him. It was so weird to see, and it made me feel kind of good. I'm not going to go in to details about that though. I also just loved the rest of the story and characters. Sure, some of them came off as a little obnoxious and too hipsterish, but the performances were so good i didn't really mind. There was also a small came from Paul Rudd in the film, and you can never go wrong with a little Paul Rudd.

This movie must have the most obvious plot twist ever. If you can't guess who the alien is in the first scene he appears in, i think you need to repeat first grade.

This was a very good movie. I really liked it. All the performances were great. Even Shia LaBeouf who i usually just find boring or annoying in his roles. This has to be his best work yet and actually gave me some hope for his future. The best actor in the film though was by far Tom Hardy. He was perfect. The only one i did not like though was surprisingly Guy Pearce, who i usually love. I just thought he played it way too over the top and almost seemed like a cartoon villain at times. He felt very out of place with the tone of the rest of the film. I was also very disappointed that Gary Oldman only had a very small cameo in the film. He is just in two small scenes and barely does anything in them. What a waste of one of the greatest actors we have today. But overall it was a very good film.

Finally a good Varg Veum film again. It was not great, but at least it didn't bore me to death. The story was kind of ridicules, but it was fun. It had some twists that i did not see coming, but one big one that i really saw coming at the end.

I don't know why i keep watching this film. I love the Hitman games (Blood Money is one of my all time favorite games), so all i keep doing when i watch this film is shouting 'AGENT 47 WOULD NOT DO THAT!!!' at the screen all the time. The story is also very predictable and cliched. I do like Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 though. He not really anything like the video game version, but he still does a very good job. You can't go wrong with Olyphantastic.

"If I'm not me, then who the hell am I?"

I was very pleasantly surprised by this film. I love the original Total Recall, so when i heard they were gonna remake it i just knew i was gonna hate it. Especially since it was gonna be a PG-13 remake. But i have to admit i really liked it. It's not s good as the original. Not at all. But it's still pretty exciting and has enough cool action sequences to keep me interested. It seemed to borrow heavily from other sci-fi movies than just the original Total Recall though. I kept thinking of films like, Blade Runner, Minority Report, I Robot, The Fifth Element, etc. while watching it. It did not have a lot of original ideas.

I thought this was a really sweet movie. It made me feel good. It did get a little too sappy for me at times though. Especially during the way too overused and cliched 'running-through-the-airport-to-catch-the-person-you-love-before-they-leave' ending.

This was a good movie up until the ending. That plot twist was awful. Also, Lene Nystrøm, who most of you will know as the woman who sang the Barbie Girl song, is a terrible actress. Too bad she is gonna be in the rest of the movies.

This was alright. Not a bad one, but i doubt this is one i will remember for long. If anything, i will remember it for it's ridicules amount of plot twists.

This was the best of the films so far. I think the fact that this was a theatrical movie again just like the first one had a lot to say. It actually felt like a movie again instead of a TV show episode. The story was also very good and the last act had me on the edge of my seat. One thing i really like about these films so far is how many great Norwegian character actors they cast.

This was a little better than the last film, but it still felt more like an episode of a TV show than a movie. The story was more interesting, but not good enough to fill an entire film. The ending was also very anticlimactic.

This was far from as good as the first film. This felt more like an extended episode of some CSI type show than an actual movie. It was just kind of boring for the most of it, but it goes completely crazy at the end with all kinds of ridicules plot twists and character decisions.

I thought this was gonna be a comedy, and it starts out that way and is very funny, but then it suddenly switches to a full on drama. Now i would have been fine with that if it had been done well. I like movies that can mix drama and comedy, but the drama here was just so awfully cheesy and predictable. I was just cringing in my seat for most of the last part of the film. Also, i love Steve Carell, but he needs to take a break from playing these depressed guys who can't find love all the time. There is this film, Crazy Stupid Love, Dan in Real Life, Little Miss Sunshine, even 40-Year Old Virgin.

"They invited Pac-Man? That cherry-chasing dot-muncher?"

This was one of my most anticipated movies of the year and i was not disappointed. I grew up with arcade games and NES and Sega Master System, so when i first heard about this film i knew i had to watch it. I loved all the cameos from classic game characters and other call backs (even the Konami code is in the film). The characters were all great, funny and likable. I can't wait for the blu-ray. Hopefully it has lots of special features.

It's been so long since the last time i saw this i had forgotten how much i really love this film. I think it's Shyamalan's best film. Even better than The Sixth Sense. Whatever happened to the director of those two brilliant films? Even Signs was pretty good, but everything he has made after that one has been shit. Very disappointing.

This was a very good Bond film. Javier Bardem was excellent as the bad guy here. If there is one complaint i got it's that he was not in it enough. I'm really tired now so that is gonna be the review for now.

Cool that you're going through all the Bond movies. I had originally planned to watch Connery & Moore's Bond films this month via Netflix instant, but they pulled all the Bond films on Jan. 8th & killed it for me. Some other time.

Well of course the Dollar trilogy is my favorite. I also love most Eastwood Westerns, True Grit both original and remake, Tombstone, The Assassination of Jesse James and 3:10 to Yuma remake (have not seen the original yet). Those are the ones i can think of of the top of my head.

It's been so long since the last time i saw this i had forgotten how much i really love this film. I think it's Shyamalan's best film. Even better than The Sixth Sense. Whatever happened to the director of those two brilliant films? Even Signs was pretty good, but everything he has made after that one has been shit. Very disappointing.
