1. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)
Episodes 4, 5, and 6. To me these are the best. We have watched these so many times I can do the lines for everyone. I fell in love with them as a kid, and still do love them so much. They pull you in and take you into a world that you wish so hard you could be in. Best of all the episodes.

2. My Neighbour Totoro (1988)
I love this movie. It is sweet. It is adventure at its finest. It's Love. It's laughter. I could go on and on. If you have not seen this, you have to watch it. This movie will steal your heart, and will become one of your favorites.

3. Memoirs of a Geisha (2005)
Epic. Sweeping. This movie will break your heart, make you cry, make you cheer, and make you wish that you had lived back in this time in Kyoto. I found myself rooting for Chiyo. I know a lot of people were upset because they did not use all Japanese actors, but the movie was done beautifully that you cannot help but love it.

4. Spirited Away (2001)
This was the first Hayao Miyazaki film that I watched. And I automatically fell in love with his work. We have collected all the films that he has done, and in reality I could watch all of them over and over again, but this one has a special place in my heart. To watch Chihiro go from a spoiled child, to a young adult in the span of of this movie, is wonderful. She learns that she is strong then she ever thought herself to be, and she makes friends along the way. This is a movie that every child should see.

5. Sense and Sensibility (1995)
I feel in love with this movie. I love the time period. I love the sisters. I love how this movie shows you can find love in the most unlikely places. I love Alan Rickman in this movie. He plays the villain so much, that you never realize he could be a good person to, in this film you get to see it. And I am not a huge fan of Hugh Grant, but in this film he is unassuming, that you can't help but fall in love with him. I will never get tired of this movie.

"Can he love her? Can the soul really be satisfied with such polite affections? To love is to burn - to be on fire, like Juliet or Guinevere or Eloise"

6. Where the Heart Is (2000)
I love this movie, not only because Billie Letts is from Oklahoma. But because of the story. To come from nothing, to everything. To Love, but to hold back because you think he can do better. To find yourself surrounded by people who become such wonderful friends. To be able to face your past and make peace with it. This movie is wonderful. Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd do such a great job in this movie. And I absolutely LOVE Stockard Channing in this movie, she has some of the best lines(" Home is where your history begins. Home is where they catch you when you fall.") this movie hits me right in the heart. I can see so much of myself in Novalee. BUT this is the best quote from the movei:

"You tell them that our lives can change with every breath we take... and tell 'em to hold on like hell to what they've got: each other, and a mother who would die for them and almost did... You tell them we've all got meanness in us, but we've got goodness too. And the only thing worth living for is the good. And that's why we've got to make sure we pass it on."

or

" You hear that? That little bom-bom-bom? That's where the heart is."

And those quotes sums up the movie perfectly. A must watch!

7. Apollo 13 (1995)
Really anything by Tom Hanks. The Davinci Dode, Angels and Demons, Forest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Road to Perdition, and well so many more. I love him as a Actor. he is so versital. But my favorite is Apollo 13. Why? Don't know. The whole movie, you get so caught up in it. You know how it really ends, but I still kind of get scared. It has some other great actors in it, Bill Paxton, Kevin Bacon, Ed Harris, athleen Quinlan, and of course Gary Sinise. Such great actors, a great story line. It reminds you of what our country was born from.

8. Summer Wars (2009)
Really the only reason why we picked this up at the store is because my son is a Otaku. He loves Japanese Anime. So we picked it up, but he was not sure he would like it. WE both LOVED it. Has a excellent story line. The story combines traditional Japanese family customs with the modern world. And does not compromise either one. The animation is spot on. The scenery is beautiful. Makes you root for them, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. A must watch for all ages.

9. Dazed and Confused (1993)
Where can I start. LOL, this movie is AWESOME. I was asked to watch this with my sister and her boyfriend, before then I had not heard of it. I fell in love with this movie automatically. The film was done so great. It actually looks like 1976. It captures a time when things were so simple, and easy. When you knew the world around you. So reminded me of my high school years. Funny, and has a great sound track. And also the BEST character EVER put on film, David Wooderson. Has the BEST line in the movie:

"hat's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age."

or

" Man, it's the same bullshit they tried to pull in my day. If it ain't that piece of paper, there's some other choice they're gonna try and make for you. You gotta do what Randall Pink Floyd wants to do man. Let me tell you this, the older you do get the more rules they're gonna try to get you to follow. You just gotta keep livin' man, L-I-V-I-N."

You have got to see this movie. Fun Romp around the lot.

10. A Christmas Story (1983)
LOVE THIS MOVIE. You know how they run the marathon every year on TBS. Every year I would watch it. Then my sister bought me the DVD. I still watch it. To me, this is how a family is suppose to be. I love the nostalgia this movie brings up in me. A simple time. A simple family, full of characters. The scene at the end of the movie with the mom and dad sitting with the lights off next to the lite tree, watching the snow fall. Perfect winter scene. Great Characters, Great Story line. LOVVE LOVE LOVE it.

And remember:

"you'll shoot your eye out kid."

LOL

11. Space Camp (1986)
LOVE this movie. Grew up on this movie and others Like Goonies, All the Right Moves, Beverly Hills Cop, Legend, The Breakfast Club, A Nightmare of Elm Stree, Adventures in Babysitting, so many, I just can't list them here. I like watching them cause they remind me of years that I love, but hate at the same time. When I was young, trying so hard to grow up. If I only knew, I would not have tried so hard to grow up.

12. Shaun of the Dead (2004)
This Movie is soooo freaking funny, takes a classic horror movie, and puts a comedic spin on it. Simon Pegg is a comedian genius. If I want to laugh my butt off, this is the movie I turn to. A must for anyone who loves comedies.

13. Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ar... (1981)
Actually any Indiana Jones movie. Yes, even Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I love these movies. There is adventure in them. And Harrison Ford is freaking awesome hot in these movies. I love Harrison Ford, he is one of my favorite actors. If I am craving a little adventure I put in a Indiana Jones movie. Actually will have Movie party's and watch all of them back to back. That is a great night.

14. Die Hard (1988)
This is another where I like all of the Die Hard Movies. Another of my favortie actors is Bruce Wills. He has the smart mouth of a annoying jerk, but you love him anyways. And I know there is not anyone on this earth that has not at least once in their life utter "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker." And he is right, Roy Rogers is the best. A must, just so you can see the bad guys get what is coming to them.

15. A View to a Kill (1985)
James Bond is the men. I love all of them (except for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, sorry but I do not agree with casting Daniel Craig.) My favorite actor's who portrayed James Bond, in order: Sean Connery (of course), LOVE LOVE Roger Moore, and of course Pierce Brosnan. I know he was getting old, but I think it sucks that they replaced Pierce, espically with Daniel. Any of them are good, my favorite is For Your Eyes Only. Roger Moore at his best, and the BEST dang them song EVER.

16. Accepted (2006)
Just a funny movie, that you don't have to think about. Every one has dealt with reject. This puts the most cleverest spin on reject ever. And you get to laugh all the way thru. BIG LESSON alert, sticking together, and standing up for what you believe in. Just sit back, and laugh.

17. Chocolat (2000)
OK, its a movie about Chocolate. And it has Johnny Dept in it. I love this movie. I get it. And all that chocolate. WOW, best idea ever for a movie. A chick flick for sure, but everyone needs to have a chick flick in their list, and what better one then this clever movie. Enjoy with a cup of hot cocoa and a chocolate bar, LOL.

18. Pan's Labyrinth (2006)
Wow, what to say about this wonderful move. I didn't want to see it at first, due to the subtitles, it is in Spanish. But I gave it, my son was so blown away by it. And so was I. So rich in detail. And even thou they are speaking another language, you are still taken in by it. The scene's are wonderful. The child just makes the whole movie. I cried at the end when she died, but I also realized, that in her death, she lives in the alternate reality. A must see. I will guaranty that you will be moved on many levels.

19. The Fast and the Furious (2001)
OK, I know these films are a joke to alot of people. But I am a car girl. Always have been, always will be. Love movies like these. Vin Diesel is HOT, so is Paul Walker. You have action. You have loyalty being tested on all sides. You have love. And some damn awesome cars. And a bonus, I love Michelle Rodriguez. And OMG you have to love that car that Vin's character drives, a 1970 Dodge Charger with a 528ci supercharged Hemi and four speed transmission. I would give my first born for a car like that, LOL.

You may come away with learning some lessons, but all these movie's feature some awesome cars, some awesome race scene's. And that alone is why I LOVE them.

20. Point Break (1991)
I know alot of people say Keanu cannot act. But really I don't give a damn, he is favorite indulgence. This is a great movie. Keanu and Patrick bounce off each other so well. And dang some great Surfing scene's. I think this is a movie where you can get into the action, and not put alot of stock in to wanting a oscar performance from everyone. And I think this is the BEST Patrick Swayze movie, next to Dirty Dancing of course.

21. WALL·E (2008)
LOVE this movie. The sweetest movie ever. Love among robots, LOL. But it works. So many lessons to be had here to. But in all realty I am a Pixar junkie. Love so many of their movies, Toy Story (all), Monster's Inc., A Bugs Life, The Incredibles, Cars, and of course Finding Nemo. All are fun to watch. Great Story's. Great Characters. What more can you ask for, NOTHING.

I am not sure why I love this movie so much. But I do. I think it has a great story, great characters. The sitting is beautiful. You have great helpings of Mystic and Bravdo. If you have time to kill, this is the perfect movie for that. And you get some great eye candy, Antonio Banderas.

23. Rocky (1976)
Ok, I must confess, I love all the Rocky movies, and for that the Rambo movies. OK, I will admit it I am a Sylvester Stallone fan. I know all the things people say about him, but its like my love for Eminem, I know I shouldn't, but I can't help myself. To my Sly is the perfect guy, can act (some what) and can write and produce. What more can you want from a guy.

Weired, twisting story. But you love the ride all the way thru, even the weirdest of scene's. Jeff Bridges at his finest. And you also get John Goodman. Just a funny movie to chill to. Sit down with a White Russian, and enjoy the journey this movie will take you on.

Another Hayao Miyazaki film. He has the magic to pull you in and get you so invested in the characters, when the movie is over, your a little disappointed. But still you love the anima. Fun and exciting. Nothing better then a Miyazaki Film.

26. The Princess Bride (1987)
Most people say this is a Romantic Adventure. But they always forget it is such a comedy also. So many scene's in there that just have you laughing so hard. And Billy Crystal is awesome as the old magician. And has the BEST line of ALL TIME ( I know I have said this before, but really this does)
"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
You know you have said it at least once, LOL.

27. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
I love this movie. And I will admit I have not watched the new one with Johnny Depp in it. For 2 Reasons:

1. Johnny scar's me. He looks weird, and really he scary's me. Just freaky.
.
2. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, not even Johnny Depp, could EVER replace Gene Wilder. To me that is why the movie worked so well. Gene is awesome. He is the best. There really is no word that I can come up with to descripe him properly. But to me, he makes the movie. To have anyone else in it is wrong.

28. Back to the Future (1985)
I love this movie, and it is the best of the series. Michael J. Fox at his best. And I love Lea Thompson, she got lost in the 80's actress, but to me she was better one out of all of them. Christopher Lloyd was made for this part, the hair is just soo funny. To me this movie is the Top of 80's. Just a wonderful journey to take. Make a bag of popcorn, gather your friends, and enjoy (yes even BthF III).

29. The Expendables (2010)
This movie has action, comedy, intensity, insane violence, and explositions at the wahoo. And I loved every mintue of it. And really how could you get a better cast. You can't. Eric Roberts is a perfect bad guy. Sly is a perfect good guy. You also get a good helping of Jason, Dolph (love me some Dolph), Jet Li, Steve, Terry, and Randy Couture (really sexy guy). And then some beautiful women, Giselle and Charisma. Yep has everything. And one of the funnies line:

"Unless you want this Fu-Manchu blown back into the 60's, you'd best back the fuck off and show some respect! "

And one freacking awesome gun, well if you want to call a M79 Grenade Launcher, a gun. Damn!

And we cannot forget Mickey Rourke. To me, when he is talking to Barney about the girl on the island. And he tells about when the were in Serbie / Bosnai, about the girl that jumps off the bridge. I think that is the best scene thru out the movie. It was so moving. My heart ached for him. And when they show him after Barney left, the quiver, that is why Mickey is a great actor, because you believed his pain.
A must see. Really, trust me on this.

Actually all of the Alien movies. I am actually a big fan of Sigourney Weaver. But these movie's have a creep factor. And no matter how many times I watch it, I always get creeped out, and scare. Turn the lights off, snuggle next to the your significant, and be prepared to be scared.
