Hmm.. I kinda thought the rating here is according to one's personal opinion and does not have to reflect the critics' or general opinion.
But that said, I enjoyed Nicholas Sparks-related films as the movie appeal is there for me. I have been a fan since The Notebook, and The Last Song banks on the same formula. Light, touching and warm.
I appreciated The Inception, but then again, it was never a movie designed to please all. The storyline was clever. Maybe it was Leonardo, or maybe I did not have the mood to sit through such story-telling. I did not care for the movie and the ending. I did not care if any of the characters would die, and I certainly could not be bothered if Leonardo's character came out alive at the end, or if he could see his children.
Yes, we could say the same about Miley Cyrus, but then again, I was watching a Nicholas Sparks's movie and ignored Miley. As much as I did try, I could not ignore Leonardo.
