That Movie Had No Right To Be That Good...
 1010  6.6  7.2  Why Should It Have Been Crap? The law of diminishing sequels. The lack of talent Stallone had displayed since the nineties elapsed. The fact that Rocky V sucked. The fact that this was the SIXTH movie in a franchise which has long passed its use-by date. The fact that it seemed like a money-grab. The fact that it could've easily been perceived as an egocentric move. Take your pick. Yet, Stallone pulled it off, and it was not in fact about the money. PvtCaboose91's rating:

125 5 5.2  Why Should It Have Been Crap? First of all, there's the law of diminishing returns. And then there's the fact that it was planned as a direct-to-DVD/Blu-ray movie. And it was tagged as UniSol 3 despite there already having been three UniSol movies. More importantly, there hasn't been a worthwhile UniSol movie since the first one. Okay, so maybe this is more to do with my perceptions as a male, but nothing at all interested me about this movie - I expected it to be a fluffy, unfunny, generic, tedious chick flick...but I enjoyed the absolute hell out of it. 1353 6.1 6.3  Why Should It Have Been Crap? First of all, the cast contains such names as Amanda Bynes and Channting Tatum, neither of whom I'm at all partial to. 2210 4.9 5.3  Why Should It Have Been Crap? It's the third movie in a franchise which was not exactly strong to begin with. Scary Movie 2 was awful, too. But, surprisingly, with the assistance of the guys behind Airplane!, Scary Movie 3 is actually really funny in my opinion. It's actually one of those comedies I can watch on a constant basis. 1571 4.5 5  Why Should It Have Been Crap? Come on, a fourth movie in the Scary Movie series? I doubt anyone expected this to be good. While some people did in fact hate this movie, in the end I liked it because I laughed a lot. It's certainly better than the despicable spoof dirge we were force-fed after this, such as Epic Movie and Disaster Movie. PvtCaboose91's rating:

You are a very brave and honest man. I applaud the genuine feeling you put into this list based on your enjoyment of the actual movie, regardless if it was considered 'cool' or 'trendy'. For that alone, you get my vote.
