I have a soft spot for movies with hot action men just kicking everyone's ass and destroying everything in their way. It was at least entertaining, if nothing else.
I've been meaning to watch this for a while now, but I think I've also in a way avoided seeing it. The holocaust in movies is just a subject I'm not particularly keen on. I can deal with murderers, psychopaths, freaks, natural disasters and whatever but this subject is just hard. But the movie was beautiful, even though in the end also brutal.
Haha, it happened again. I fell in love with a band that the movie was based on (even though Control is more of a movie about Ian Curtis). I really fell for Joy Division and I've been listening to them in my car every day. The movie was good too, really well made.
I'm super late with this list too :D Need I explain? just read my last movie diary info and you'll know. But this month I've watched more TV than movies so that explains the lack of movies this month also.
I didn't care for Atonement either.
Also you reminded me I'm overdue to revisit the Back to the Future series.
