lol its funny what happened to me about paranormal activity. i learnt from internet that it was the scariest movie of all times and people were screaming in the end so i downloaded it and then went back to my hostel.
in hostel at night around 12 am we all made a cool env. all lights off etc and pop corns and i put paranormal activity on play! you cant imagine how much i got taunted at my movie choice. we kept forwarding all the time and in 15 mins we were at the end of the movie where something happened! that didnt scare any of us! lol
so it was huge embarrassment! :P
As for American History X, although lots of movies put across messages, this film was quite profound in saying that not everything is black & white (no pun intended!). In any situation where people are so firm/rigid with their 'beliefs' (in this case the racism) and do something terrible, you don't tend to think that they can or will ever change & you don't see what leads up to or from the point. Maybe they can though.. that's the basic on what I took from it anyway.
