It is in the list already, I didn't leave it out. They are in alphabetical order. This Is Spinal Tap is between They shoot Movies and Waiting for Guffman. Thanks for the vote!

I would have added Forgotten Silver, but it's a tv movie. There are a lot of series and tv films which can be put under the definition of mockumentary (way too much to be mentioned on this list), so maybe I will make another list some time.

Description

This is the list of some of the most known fictional films made to look like documentaries or using techniques known usually from documentary films for a wished effect, usually for comedic or horrifying purposes. Mockumentary can be about wholly fictional material represented as factual (like [Rec] and most of the other horror mockumentaries), fictional characters and situations interacting with real life people (like Borat or Brüno) or more complex fourth-wall-breaking studies about film anatomy and human mind which combine real life situations and archival footage with fake or otherwise fictional footage (like F for Fake).
