13. Sonic Adventure - Sega Dreamcast

Sloppy controls, useless characters and general silliness are all good reasons to hate this game, in retrospect. However, the true root of my displeasure with this game's existence is its legacy. This was the beginning of the downfall of Sonic. He still hasn't recovered.

Yeah, the girl power thing isn't exactly to my taste and there's some... serious weirdness going on here, even for a FF game. But heck if it isn't fun. Best battle system in a FF game, until XIII came along. Unpopular opinion much?

Beating this game not only killed my enthusiasm to import any of my other Shepards, it made me never want to play Mass Effect again.

Although you gotta admit, it's pretty impressive that a 10 minute sequence could retroactively kill an entire 100 hour investment. That takes a special kind of bad. So, congrats on that at least, Bioware.
