Description

With the popularity of Super Mario RPG for the SNES, a whole new breed of Mario games was born - the Mario Role-Playing Games. And with the advent of more powerful hardware, Nintendo did a great move by introducing 'Paper Mario', giving Mario and his friends a 2D look'n'feel, and using it to great advantage for unique moves such as turning into a paper airplane, or wedging his paper-thin profile thru narrows gaps. The paper effects is utilized for scenery, giving rooms and levels a 'cardboard cutout' effect with collapsing walls and buildings. And with the Wii version (Super Paper Mario), Mario can now jump into '3D' world to tackle certain puzzles and obstacles.
