Rasputin. He is at his darkest, best in this movie.

Thank you! I tried to add it actually, but it is a made for TV movie and I am unable to combine the two with the limited knowledge I've got of this site yet. I'll eventually figure out a way to cheat the system!

Many of alan's roles make him the man you love to hate. he was also in 'blow dry, and .bottle shock. thanks for the list.

Alan Rickman used to be a theater director. If you look at a lot of the British actors they come from a theater background.

If you are doing live performances of some of the most complex characters Shakespeare created then having ten takes to nail pretty shallow characters in Hollywood movies is no problem.

Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman are both very under rated.
