You can have up to 10 choices, meaning you can have from 1 to 10 movies.
All the movies in the top 5 you vote for gets two points, and all the ones in the bottom 5 get one point only. Meaning it's not like the other lists where the top 1 gets 10 points and the last gets 1 point only.
If you make any edit to your choices, you have to tell me for the change to take place.
In order for your vote to be counted, you have to specify the exact name of the movie rather than saying "all godfather movies".
If the movie has a remake, specify the year of the movie for your vote to be counted.
If two movies have the same points, the movie with more voters will be on the top, if two movies share the same number of points and voters then the first one mentioned will get a higher spot.
The list doesn't have a limit to voters.
Only the top 100 movies will be included on the list.
ONE MORE THING: The person that comes up with the best description will have the description next to movie in the list.
Here are my choices:

May I ask why you choose to modify the points system? It's not a critic, I'm just curious.
Sure...because I think the difference of the top item in people's votes is not that big of a difference than the tenth to deserve a difference of 9 points, 1 point less is more fair.
#1.) Avatar (cliche, cliche, cliche)
#2.) Goodfellas (it's just another mob film?...)
#3.) The Dark Knight (a real MESS of a film, needed script polishing and a less 'sappy' climax)
#4.) Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (someone needs to tell Seth McFarlane the Star Wars parodies are gettin' OLD, it's just a movie...)
#5.) X-Men (2000) (I waited my WHOLE CHILDHOOD for 'this'? Who the hell did the casting for this pile of monkey poo?!)
#6.) The King's Speech (they can thank the Academy for this one?)
#7.) Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (seriously Seth, we get it, you cum to Star Wars, y'know there's been OTHER movies released since then?...)
#8.) Shakespeare In Love (does anyone even remember this film, nuff said, Saving Private Ryan was 'screwed'!)
#9.) Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (you'll notice I didn't include the modern three, that's because they were all pieces of shit, I don't include bad movies, just good movies that were considered GREAT for some reason???)
#10.) Frank Miller's Sin City (WAY too much narration, Clive Owen's 'Lurch' impression gives me a headache sometimes...)
And that's my picks off the top of my head for the biggest disappointments in movie history.
^^Aww, no adding Shakespeare in Love. I love that movie. *pouts* :P
My votes:
1. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
2. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
3. Slumdog Millionaire
4. Avatar
5. Saving Private Ryan
6. Fight Club
7. Sweeney Todd
8. Inglorious Basterds
9. Alien
10. The Tourist
1. Avatar
2. Citizen Kane
3. The Maltese Falcon
4. The Blair Witch Projecr
5. Aliens
6. Swenney Todd
7. Airplane
8. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
9. Alien
10. The King's Speech
1. Alien
2. Aliens
3. Avatar
4. Leon: The Professional
5. The Usual Suspects
6. The Shining
7. Blade Runner
8. A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)
9. Friday The 13th (1980)
10. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
1. American History X
Superficial story with several cinematic cliches that don't convince. So much more could have been showed and said.
2. Gone with the Wind
3. Suspiria
Cliched and oversimplified story.
4. Vicky Cristina Barcelona
From the series stupid americans in Europe? Quite meaningless as it seems to be a kitsch vacation affair and nothing more, one of those films to 'watch and forget'.
5. The Man from London
Extremely boring. I respect Bella Tarr but I can't help with myself.
6. V for Vendetta
This film has several interesting twists and a little bit exciting originality in general. But the white nationalist regime, overly supressed gay and lesbian rights, etc. makes you think it should teach a viewer tolerance, etc. and show lurking threat of neo-nazis in UK. Again, complicated and sore problems of society shouldn't be oversimplified. The end is naive.
7. Slumdog Millionaire
Stunning visuality. The main line of the story is quite original. At times it makes you want it to be less like fairy-tale, though. The love story smells like a kitch Indian love story - imho, that's the weakest part of the movie that ruins it all.
8. The Dark Knight
9. Lost in translation
10. Zeitgeist and rest shows.
Proved brainwash.
1. Toy Story 3 - Probably goes down in history as the most sentimental film ever made.
2. The Matrix - People love this film because it's an everyman's intellectual journey, but it's not really that clever, and involves little action.
3. The Dark Knight - A Whole lot of spectacle, celebrated for a theme that is confusing and over-serious.
4. Gone With the Wind - Citizen Kane, Vertigo, 2001 are all timeless. GWTW, on the other hand, has grown cliche, melodramatic, sappy, and unintelligent. It's one thing to appreciate this film for what it used to be, but by today's standards, it doesn't hold up.
5. Up - A lot of critics only remember the one scene, and forget about how bad the second half was.
6. The Chronicles of Narnia: All of them - About as trite as movies get, unoriginal, cliche, boring, and uninvolving - unless your four years old, but them you might sleep because of how long they are.
7. Ghostbusters - Not even remotely funny.
8. The Wizard of Oz - Has anybody actually realized how corny munchkinland is? Seriously, this film doesn't connect emotionally and depends entirely on nostalgia, which is sadly running out.
9. Wall-E - Everyone ends up over-looking Finding Nemo (a truly great movie) because of this poorly executed film. The first half is astonishing; the second half, amateurish.
10. The African Queen - A goofy film that critics like, just BECAUSE.
Some of these movies are great. Of the ones that I have seen and agree they are over-rated are:
Titantic - Takes one of the greatest disasters of the 20th century and turns it into the background of a chick flick / love story.
Gone With The Wind - Here I think the problem is it just hasn't aged well. It may have been a sweeping epic in its day, but is very old fashioned and dull by today's standards.
The Exorcist - This one I thought was cheesy even when it was in the theatres. I thought the effects were too over the top and, in some cases, almost comical.
So for people who were discomfited by 'Brokeback Mountain' but wanted to be able to look themselves in the mirror and feel like they were good, productive liberals, 'Crash' provided the perfect safe harbor. - Kenneth Turan, LA Times
2. Slumdog Millionaire (Oscar Winner)
3. The Usual Suspects
4. The Shawshank Redemption (IMDB's #1 rated movie)
5. Inception (one of Listal's favorite movies) - Paprika, an inspiration for Christopher Nolan's film, is a much better film.
6. Do the Right Thing - Spike Lee's characters are contrived and the film isn't realistic or natural. Radio Raheem choked Sal over the destruction of his radio, yet Lee didn't mention it at Cannes when he said only white viewers asked if Mookie did the right thing and that they're implicitly valuing property over Radio Raheem's life.
7. Braveheart (Oscar Winner)
8. Titanic (Oscar Winner)
9. Armageddon - Included in The Criterion Collection, despite being critically panned. "Here it is at last, the first 150-minute trailer." - Roger Ebert
10. The Reader - Noteworthy only because of Kate Winslet's performance.
1. Titanic
2. Avatar
3. King Kong (2005)
4. Crash (2004)
5. American History X

1. Kung Fu Panda 2 (top pick)
2. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
3. Lord of the Rings- The Two Towers
4. Fantasia
5. The Avengers
6. Iron Man 2
7. Dolphin Tale
8. How to Train Your Dragon
9. Tangled
10. Antz
1. Saving Private Ryan
Simply put: Very stupid and bad movie, save the first 20 minutes of the film. Tom Hanks is still a retard, suppose he never get past that Forrest Gump role...
2. Avatar
3D isn't the future of the cinema, it'll be the end of it.
3. Deer Hunter
Heaven's gate ain't Cimino's only bad film to date. It's very hard for me to understand the popularity of this one, because all the problems Heaven's gate has, this has.
4. The Departed
Probably the most unnecessary remake of all time.
5. The Dark Knight
Do I need to explain why I add this one on the "top OVERRATED films" -list? No? I didn't think so...
6. Crash
Most probably the worst film ever to win an oscar for best picture. Stupid, childish and complete and utter shit. Bottom of the barrel.
7. Usual Suspects
Okay... This is technically pretty nice looking pic, but the twist plot is just plain stupid. KEYSEEEEER SÖÖÖÖZEE... christ.
8. Forrest Gump
Yet another Tom Hanks, he's the king of these kind of lists.
9. Dark Knight Returns
Unlike Dark Knight, this one was actually pretty fuckin bad film already, yet it has earned it's place on this list for it was NEW BEST FILM IN THE WORLD for about 2 years prior to it's release already... People seem to have no perspective nowadays.
10. Pretty much everything that comes from Hollywood today.
Hollywood is dead and pretty much everything that comes from there today is shit and yet it's overrated here.
Hollywood is a dead corpse, which is raped over and over again and set on fire. They (who call themselves filmmakers) have been trying to extinguish the flames by pissing on it ever since...
Ok, last one wasn't a valid movie, but what the heck? This one is defunct probably anyway. I just use this to scold on some pretty fuckin horrid movies. But to make everyone happy, I have picked a real number 10.
I don't necessarily dislike these films, but I do consider them overrated...
1. Avatar (2009)
2. Donnie Darko (2001)
3. Ben Hur (1959)
4. The Ten Commandments (1956)
5. A Beautiful Mind (2001)

7. Crash (2004)
8. The Philadelphia Story (1940)
9. 300 (2006)
10. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
I vote only the films I've seen and find it overrated.

10. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
WTF!?
Titantic - Takes one of the greatest disasters of the 20th century and turns it into the background of a chick flick / love story.
Gone With The Wind - Here I think the problem is it just hasn't aged well. It may have been a sweeping epic in its day, but is very old fashioned and dull by today's standards.
The Exorcist - This one I thought was cheesy even when it was in the theatres. I thought the effects were too over the top and, in some cases, almost comical.
2.Avatar
3.Toy Story 3
4.Amelie
5.Benjamin Button
6.Fear and Loathing
7.Mullholland Drive
8.Up
9.Saw
10.Hostel

10. Antz
10. Sixth Sense
1. Avatar (2009)
