Good idea but frankly speaking, I'm tired of watching the same ol' usual suspects ranking the top spot (or at least the top 50)... I think it's time to bring out the lesser known films!

Particularly I don´t like lists with just names... but I understand that are too many items to add pictures or more details.

I was thinking to make such a list the other day but I couldn't figure out a good way to keep them updated when the ranks change or a new movie joins in. Anyway I hope you got that covered. I was also planning to add a little description to each movie, just like the IMDB TOP 250, also a different display mode, I hate this kind of display mode, but that's just me.
I know I'm going to be roasted for this, but I've never understood all the love for The Godfather as the greatest film of all-time. It's a film I enjoyed just never loved, I get it being in the top 250, I just think it should be somewhere between 50 and 100 not number 1.
(lol) I've watched 42% of these (105 films) and only wish to watch 15% more (40 films); that comes to a total of 145 films out of 250 and leaves a total of 105 films that I have no desire to see.
105 films out of Listal's top 250 that I don't want to watch; and these are the highest rated? I didn't even like all of the ones on this list that I did see! (there were 7 that I rated 6 stars or less) ;D
Still, I applaud the effort that this, obviously, took. It is interesting to see what the majority see as the best movies of all time. Hopefully more of the films that you referred to that have less than 300 votes will be watched and rated; perhaps then I will see more on this list that appeals to me.
