Character: Mac

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Mac is a no nonsense tough guy with a heart of solid lead, but seeing his team get wiped out one by one is almost too much to take. To cap it off, his best buddy is killed and he sees the gloating Predator leering over his corpse for the first time.

Actions:
Mac lets out an almighty roar before emptying a clip from his machine gun in the general direction of the Predator. Once expended, he picks up his fallen comrade's minigun and levels about 100 acres of rainforest with the help of the rest of his platoon.



Aftermath:
Chlorophyllicide. They only hit the Predator with a non-fatal injury, but Oxygen in the Earth's atmosphere fell by 10%.

Character: Neo

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Neo witnesses the ultimate act of treachery as the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar are wiped out without a fight. During this carnage his mentor and leader is captured by the machines and taken for an interrogation that threatens the whole of humanity.

Actions:
After tooling up with enough hardware to equip an army, Neo infiltrates a Government building and kills off scores of troops without so much as blinking. He then tackles agents, dodges bullets for the first time and commandeers a chopper to blow out the side of the skyscraper and rescue Morpheus.



Aftermath:
Neo gets Morpheus to safety before engaging in an epic showdown with Agent Smith for the first time. Lots of families are left without fathers to bring in a steady income.

Character: Tetsuo

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Tetsuo is sick of being pushed around by the more competent members of his gang. His deep seeded inferiority complex forces him to exploit his new found super powers in order to prove his worth!

Actions:
Tetsuo carves a trail of absolute destruction on his way from captivity to the Olympic Stadium. He faces off against a full-scale military onslaught and even annihilates a space satellite during the rampage. The whole of Neo-Tokyo fails to bring him down.



Aftermath:
The sprawling metropolis of Neo Tokyo is destroyed once again.

Character: Azumi

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Azumi has seen her childhood friends mercilessly slaughtered and her own mission go terribly awry. The news that her master has been captured by one of her targets forces her to act with extreme prejudice!

Actions:
Standing between Azumi and revenge is a fortified coastal down of about 300 pirate bandits. With only her trusty blade in hand, she slaughters her way to justice and a final showdown with an insane killer who murdered her friend. Complete and utter carnage.



Aftermath:
Out of the ashes appears one of Azumi's samurai pals, but everyone else is leaking crimson. Earthworms get used to haemoglobin for dinner for years to come.

Character: Rocky Balboa

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Balboa is up against a man who has destroyed his reputation, mocked him and his wife in public, beat him previously in the ring and killed his beloved trainer Micky Goldmill. It's time for some payback!

Actions:
Under the guidance of Apollo Creed, Balboa turns into a total fighting machine and looks more hench than he ever has done before. Come the rematch, he throws every tactic out of the window, soaks up every one of Clubber's punches, insults him in between each one and then drops that chump in the third round.



Aftermath:
The People's Champ is the champion once again.

Grand Assault's rating:

Character: Maximus

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
His entire family already lay slain at the hands of the Roman Empire. Instead of his rightful position as the Emperor, he finds himself fighting for survival as a slave in the bloodthirsty gladiatorial arenas.

Actions:
Despite refusing to fight initially, Maximus flips the switch and storms a gladiator arena, killing every other opponent single handedly, before barracking the crowd and throwing his sword at the royal guest.



Aftermath:
Everybody is entertained.

Character: Achilles

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Achilles' cousin Patroclus is slain by Hector who mistakens him for the legendary Greek warrior.

Actions:
Achilles rides toward the gates of Troy alone and demands a showdown with Hector. He disregards Hector's request that the loser be granted a proper burial and proceeds to kill the Trojan prince. He then ties his body behind a chariot and drags him back to the Greek camp.



Aftermath:
The King of Troy sneaks into the Greek camp and begs for the body of his son to be returned. Achilles agrees and offers a 10 day ceasefire, in which time they hatch a plan what will bring the downfall of Troy.

Character: John Preston

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
The restrictions on human emotion have left Preston without a wife, a partner and forced him to kill scores of innocent men and women.

Actions:
Preston hatched a plan to topple the fascist government. When his plan is foiled he goes postal, dispatching dozens of guards with hidden pistols and then destroying a high-ranking cleric with a single blow from his ornate sword. He then starts a revolution by killing the big brother figure of Liberia, surely creating a new world order.



Aftermath:
Humanity is freed and allowed to feel emotion again. The ending is very strongly indicative that the revolution is successful.

Grand Assault's rating:

118   7.4   6.9 

Character: Kham

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
Kham lived a simple existence in the Thai wilderness, doing nothing but looking after elephants. Oh yeah, and learning the deadly Muay Thai martial art. Imagine his disgust when two of his beloved elephants are stolen by poachers and shipped off to Australia! Worse still, the parent elephant has been killed and its bones used as an ornament for a corrupt corporate figurehead. Oh no they didn't!

Actions:
Kham is being beaten by about 100 men whilst he comes to terms with the death of his elephant. Then one of his assailants stabs him and his limit gauge hits max. He proceeds to break at least one bone on each of their bodies.



Aftermath:
The city's hospitals run out of casts and splints, whilst the X-rayer had to be paid double time. Kham rescues the younger elephant after battling men built like houses.

Grand Assault's rating:

407   6.9   7.5 

Character: Cloud Strife

Pushed to the LIMIT!:
He's already dispatched Sephiroth before, but thanks to a terrible plot twist he has been reincarnated again and that can only be bad news! Cloud finds himself battling his ultimate Nemesis and appears to be on the losing end of a katana before he unleashes the beast.

Actions:
Cloud unleashes a limit break in the most literal sense. This time, he's upgraded from the devastation that ended Sephiroth first time around and is sporting the new and improve Omnislash version 5.0. Sephiroth doesn't stand a chance and is splashed to the four winds.



Aftermath:
Sephiroth is defeated. He transforms into his morose One-Winged Angel form, drops a line about how he can never truly be defeated (sigh) and then disintegrates into nothingness.
