It was awesome to finally watch this, 'cause Chaplin means so much to me and no one inspires me as much as he does. But I gotta say I'm disappointed on this, and I'm close to rate this 7/10. I mean, it really had some moments that I liked - and I love the ending - but to be even just partly but still based on Charlie's autobiography I thought it would have been more impressive. And the screenplay focused more on the scandals (Joan Barry etc.), I thought it'd had more about the films. Or it didn't focus much on anything to be honest. Points for Robert Downey Jr to accomplish a difficult job very well, playing the greatest cinema artist of all time. But I don't know. I feel kinda disappointed but it was still nice to watch. Maybe it's because of my endless love for Charlie, I don't know. It was worth of watching anyway. ![]() Sarqasm's rating:

With a little touch of Buscemi. ^^
my favs are in this order: memento, fight club, the usual suspects, good bad ugly, saw, snatch, and planet of the apes!
a bit disenchanted with shining and for a few dollars more, but an excellent list! looks like you like ed norton and brad pitt.
