Truly great list! Move Hostel down to #219 and it would be just about perfect ;)

Love your choices though. Curious, have you seen any of the recent French "bench-marks" in horror? ie. Inside, Martyrs, High Tension, Frontier(s)? And if so, what do ya think?

Nicely done! I've seen the majority of these and there's only a couple I'm not as crazy about. Very pleased to see some love for Halloween III, the original Wicker Man, and the Elm Street sequels (especially New Nightmare).

Great list. I would recommend 'Session 9' to any horror fan if you haven't seen it yet.

Saw should be up... ju-on should be replaced with grudge... what the hell?!

Saw is number 48 and isn't going any higher.

The grudge was god-awful.
