Yeah yeah, at some point it became uncool to play The Sims. But it's entertaining for a very very long time and especially the first generation is a beautiul nostalgic memory of my childhood.
It's always good to have a Sims game lying around somewhere in case you get bored with the rest of your other games.
It is kinda stupid that I played all the expansion packs at that time but seriously, they weren't as expensive as nowadays!!!...good old days of humane prices. *sigh*
In a certain way I think this is really ... odd to play. I don't find words to explain. When you create a family, when you create a life to them, they have children, etc ... it's a kind of perversity, no ? x)
Agreed about the expansion packs pricing. I gave up on Sims 3 shortly before Pets came out. Now it is just too confusing to reinstall on my computer. Which one is first, which one conflicts with the other packs, bla bla...
