Nature's Magical Moments
Making this list reminded of the time when I found the carcass of a crane fly (daddy long legs) dangling with 1 leg on my ceiling lampshade. I was already dumbstruck by its sudden passing knowing it had been alive not too long ago, but catching the sight of its single spindly leg not yield to the gravitational pull compounded my wtf meter even further. A possible build-up of static on the lampshade's fringe hem might be a reason for it having clung for so long. Still, how hard was it to extricate itself from a strip of wool? Whatever the cause, I can safely say that it's a sight you don't get to see very often. I was thinking of taking a snapshot of it at the time, but found it in my heart to just leave the poor bugger alone.
