updated Aug 5th - and yes, I do plan on eventually having a description for all of the entries and trailer for most of them, but it is quite time consuming :P
Updated Sep. 17th, 2008. No major additions, though Dark Knight is no longer at the top. I think there was 4 or 5 deletions and additions, but only in the last dozen or so titles on this list, as it usually expected.
What I like about this list is that it isn't topped with the stuff that film critics love but viewers say who cares (think: Citizen Kane which only appears at position 40 instead of #1 or #2). At the same time it isn't all about box office success (I didn't see Titanic). Most of what I consider the "best" films are on this list. A great compilation.
In process of updating this list to the latest IMDb Top250 list, and fixed up the Schindlers List review (thanks AgentLexi). Ugh, Toy Story 3 is WAY too high. It will drop in a few months down 20 or 40 spots, as all Pixar films seem to do over time.
i've only seen 107 of these. i have some catching up to do. agree that it's the best list on the site, except the one's that have pictures of women with big boobs, of course..
Keep up the good work!
just a heads-up ;D

I agree with Manling; Best list on listal!
Up to you but you can put mine there instead if you wish. My review is by far one of the best since it's my favourite film.
Thanks. I love this list. ;)
Thanks.
