Great list! You may want to include a spoiler warning with the title because if films like Fight Club and A Beautiful Mind (in case someone hasn't heard about the "twist") :-)

Great list, but Captain Howdy wasn't imaginary- it was the demon pazuzu (in the movie) that eventually possessed Regan. Also, Jodie in Amityville was the ghost of a real murdered child, same with the "kids" from The Orphanage. I love this list though, great great idea! Here are my ideas:

1. "Maggie" from the made for TV movie "Invisible Child" (horrible movie, but good for your list) with Rita Wilson.

2. "Candace" from the TV movie "Imaginary Playmate" (2006)- of course, Candace is a ghost. Another stupid made for TV movie I watched for god knows what reason...

3. The entire "royal family" (forget all their names) made up by the girls in Heavenly Creatures (1994).
