Erg... no offense. These are beautiful girls but they are hardly professional dancers. Some celebs/artists like Britney Spears dances a lot in her videos, and yes I admit, she's one good dancer, so I'll let her pass. But Jessica Simpson? Jennifer Grey? Emma Bunton? Marilyn Monroe? Seriously??? They may have great bodies but I don't necessarily think of them as dancers.
For real professional dancers, have you ever thought of including ballroom dancers (you know, ballroom dancing such as salsa, jive, rumba, samba, paso-doble, cha-cha-cha, merengue, tango, mambo, waltz, foxtrot etc)? Check on those professional ballroom dancers' bodies in Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), e.g. Karina Smirnoff, Julianne Hough, Cheryl Burke etc. Now THAT'S what I call a slamming dancer's body.
p.s. : Oh btw, just an info, ballroom dancing is not just limited to DWTS. As a matter of fact, I dislike that show as much as I dislike most reality TV shows these days LOL. There are A LOT other professional ballroom dancers beyond DWTS with enough dancing skill to match and killer bodies to die for. I just want to give you an illustration of what ballroom dancing is about. And one more thing, there are also dancers with great toned bodies from other types of dancing such as ballet, flamenco, hip-hop, burlesque, traditional dancing (e.g. Balinese, Javanese, or Indian dancing) etc. If I can give a piece of advice, you should expand your list to cope REAL life professional dancers and not just some celebs that may be able to do one or two dance steps in their videos/in front of the camera.
Umm okay.. They all have the 'dancer body', you know, Muscular legs and arms, a waist that looks like they just did a billion crunches, and still very womanly figure. Whether or not you consider them to be 'real' dancers wasn't the point.
I actually liked what you had to say but the way you said it, honestly, you sound like an arrogant d-bag. Though I believe you do have some knowledge on what you are saying. Maybe you could make a list of your professional or 'real' dancers. Cause that really isnt what this list is about.
BTW sorry if your not an arrogant D-bag...maybe you only type that way.:)
Oh okay then, sorry. I thought this list is about REAL dancers. My mistake. But still, I'm not sure if Marilyn Monroe had that typical "dancer's" body. I mean, she was quite voluptuous and had a very womanly figure. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but most dancers I know are usually quite slender with strong arms and legs due to rigorous training. This is not always the case, I know. There are also a lot of dancers with "full" figures yet they dance better than someone half their size. Being a dancer doesn't necessarily have to do with your physical appearance, but rather your talents and skills.
Anyway, if I can offer another advice, then perhaps you can change the title? It's just a suggestion. Because when I first read the title of your list, I thought it was about real dancers, or at least celebs who can dance and/or are known for their dancing skill such as Janet Jackson, Julianne Hough, Paula Abdul etc. I know that you're just trying to list down female celebs, whether they can dance/not, whom in your opinion possess that ideal sculpted dancer's body so it doesn't matter if they ever dance/not in real life. But that would make it even more misleading, because it can lead people into thinking that these celebs all have such stunning figures thanks to dancing, when in reality it's not always the case. Britney seems to be the only one on your list who dances regularly on a daily basis so yeah, she pretty much owes her body to dancing. While the other ladies, mmm... I'm not too sure. But like I said, this is just a suggestion. Don't take it too seriously.
And eventhough this list is not about real dancers, I still recommend you too check on some of the dancers I mentioned on my previous message. I mean, nothing wrong with it, right? =) Who knows, perhaps it can broaden up your insight on other types of bodies. I mean, great bodies are not just limited to celebrities.
Oh and lastly, sorry if I sounded like a d-bag. I didn't mean to. You know, one of the disadvantage of typing messages behind the screen like this is the fact that you cannot always see your opponent's face and hear his/her tone so you can never tell if a person is being mean/nice, serious/joking etc. If we talk directly face-to-face, you would've known straight away that my face is flat the entire time I'm speaking. This is just one of those "light" conversation that shouldn't be taken too seriously and it is not my intention whatsoever to "attack" you or being rude/arrogant. So again, sorry.
Dont sweat it I didn't feel attacked. I just wanted to let you know that while you hold your own opinion in such I regard others may not. BTW this site is one for 'celebrities'. And to just help you with your online communication skills you may not wanna start your comments with expressions such as erg and then continue on telling someone what they should have done with their list. It is arrogant no matter how you type it. Maybe I could help you out with your reading comprehension skills as well. I wanna dancers body. That is the title of this list. It very plainly refers to the body of the dancer. Sorry if the lack of apostrophe confused you so much. I can change the list name to
I wanna dancer's body
Will that help?
BTW I have been to many performances/recitals as well as took dance classes for years. I am aware of what a professional dancer is and looks like so stop trying 'broaden my insight' I will look at your list but you need to stop acting like your opening my eyes to something I am blind to.
