She interned at the Center for Competitive Politics in 2009 and Americans for Tax Reform in 2010. She served as the Vice President and Treasurer of her college’s Maryland Student Legislature delegation. In 2015, she was selected to be on the Board of Advisors for the Maryland Student Legislature.

Originally from Guatemala, she has become a sensation throughout the Spanish speaking world. Señorita Álvarez learned about the Austrian School of Economics while studying international relations and political science at Francisco Marroquín University in Guatemala City.

Álvarez was a participant in September’s Youth Parliament in Zaragoza, Spain, hosted by the Latin-American Leader Network, an organization that aims to bring together young Latin-American leaders with a commitment to democracy, human rights, and individual freedom.

“It’s overwhelming and impressive. It’s something that I did not expect,” she says of the positive feedback that her presentation on the defense of republican institutions has received, including more than 450,000 views on YouTube.

Álvarez is a political scientist, radio broadcaster, and project director at the National Civic Movement of Guatemala (MCN), an NGO that advocates for the participation of an informed, responsible, and active citizenry in national politics.

“Now the challenge is determining what we can do to maintain the momentum generated by the speech, and harness it to dismantle populism,” she said.

Nena Bartlett Whitfield is from Ann Arbor, Michigan and moved to Washington, DC upon completing her Master's program in Diplomacy from Norwich University in Vermont in 2007. She has worked at the Cato Institute and been involved with a number of political campaigns, most recently as assistant campaign manager for now junior Senator Rand Paul. After the 2010 elections, Nena joined Sen. Paul in his Washington, DC office as a Legislative Aide on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. Nena became the Executive Director of the Ladies of Liberty Alliance (LOLA) in 2011 and left Capitol Hill in 2013 to devote herself to LOLA full-time. Nena is active in her community as a founding member and former Treasurer of the DC Liberty Toastmasters, Chair of the Republican Liberty Caucus of DC and the Vice President and Treasurer of the Norwich Alumni DC Chapter.

Naomi Brockwell is an actress, film producer, and opera singer based in NYC.

She was formerly a Breitbart News Network reporter as well as a Fox News Channel contributor.Upon graduating from Pepperdine University in 2011, she gained national attention after having a confrontation with actor Matt Damon over teacher tenure reform. After the altercation, Fields was hired as a reporter at The Daily Caller. She later became a correspondent for PJ Media. Fields is a former panelist on the Fox News program Cashin' In. In 2016, Fields gained notability when she accused Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski of grabbing her arm at a press conference. Martina is a student at University of Economics in Prague. She is a Senior Local Coordinator at European Students for Liberty and a former Chairman of Czech Students for Liberty. She is interested in economics, finance and entrepreneurship. Martina sees freedom not just like a set of opinions on certain topics, but rather as a lifestyle, which allows people to be brave, free, responsible and constantly challenge their environment.

Martina got experience as a Co-founder of a Czech start-up, a Moderator and Journalist for Czech investment news. She has almost a year of experience in project management when she worked for the investment bank in Prague and then as an Equity Trader. She is also an alumni of Mises University (Auburn, Alabama).
Demelza Hays is a doctorate student in the Department of Economics at the University of Liechtenstein in Europe. Prior to attending the University of Liechtenstein, Demelza completed her Master's in Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics in Southern France. As a Summer Fellow at the Mises Institute, she investigated if cryptocurrency is compatible with fractional reserve banking.

As a PhD student in Economics, she will begin teaching a course on cryptocurrency at the University of Liechtenstein in February of 2017

Milica worked as the Communication Manager for the libertarian organization Libek in Serbia.

She has been active on various projects, such as “Politics of the Individual” a number of libertarian seminars for high school students, the Public Policy Academy – a one-semester course for college students, Citizens For Prosperity, the Tax Payers Festival and first Tax Payers March in Serbia, one of the most successful pro-liberty rallies in Europe.

Milica graduated from the Faculty of Political Science, International Relations at the University of Belgrade and is completing her master’s degree at the University of Belgrade in Political Theory, Political Sociology and Institutions. She got involved with ESFL after she took part in organization of the first Regional Conference in Belgrade.

She became a Students For Liberty Local Coordinator beginning in 2013, National Coordinator in 2014, and was most recently Regional Director of the Black Sea Region (encompassing Georgia, Bulgaria, Armenia, Turkey, and Israel) in her role on the European Executive Board until April 2015.
Lauren Southern was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia, and is currently living Langley, B.C. Lauren became an advocate of Libertarian values when she discovered the works of Libertarian philosophers at a young age. She adopted the belief that the government does not know how to spend an individual’s money/property better than they do. Nor should the government have the right to instruct people on how to live their lives when their way of life is causing no harm to those around them. She is currently studying Political Sciences at the University of the Fraser Valley, where she provides a strong voice for liberty on campus. She is an advocate for individualism and freedom of speech through different forms of social media and activism. Lauren plans on running a strong campaign in order to spread the libertarian message, as well as move power away from the government and back to the people. She feels strongly about issues such as corporate welfare, criminalization of victimless crimes and taxation. In promoting liberty, Lauren hopes to create a better, freer Canada for current and future Canadians.

Jaclyn is the Senior Manager of Learn Liberty at the Institute for Humane Studies. She supports the Learn Liberty content teams as they produce video and written content, making classical liberal ideas relevant and accessible to millions of college students. An avid follower of the Scrum methodology and Eric Ries’ Lean Startup, she uses agile frameworks for both personnel management and product development. She believes value creation happens when there is a balance between planning and experimentation, and when teams stay attuned to the changing ecosystems in which they are working.

I've never heard of Gloria Alvarez before, and this may sound a little old fashioned, but her eyes are mesmerizing.
