1. The Ring (2002)
I think it was the second film that really scared me but I mean it REALLY scared me! I was still terrified of that little girl and the cassette tape months after watching the film and I still don't like thinking about it. I was really paranoid after seeing it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. No picture for this film, it's too scary, I never want to watch it again.

2. Hollow Man (2000)

This was my first real horror movie. After watching it, I kept thinking there was an invisible man beside me.

3. Scary Movie (2000)

This is supposed to be a comedy but when you're 8 years old, it's more scary than anything. It was the first horror movie I saw with a masked serial killer and now I really don't like these masks, even if this one looks a little silly, I find it scarier because he's wearing a mask and a costume.

4. Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003)

That creature is just creepy and it's supposed to 'taste your fear' and I'm like 'Are you kidding me? How am I supposed to not be scared if I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere with that winged thing?'

5. Halloween (2007)
I don't remember exactly which Halloween film I saw because I didn't actually SEE it, I kept hiding behind my blanket because I knew I'd be too scared and I wouldn't stop thinking about it. But my friends did tell me about a certain shower scene which scared me even though I didn't see it. And the killer's mask just freaks all the crap out of my body!!

6. What Lies Beneath (2000)

The only scene I remember is the husband giving a bath to his wife to drown her, I suppose, and she just turns purple out of a sudden. So thanks to this movie and this one scene involving a bath in The Ring, I can't take a bath anymore.

7. Saw (2004)
I haven't even seen the damn movie! I just watched a few scenes from the whole series and my sister told me the story. What scares me the most is really the bad guy who does all this stuff to these people, just his face creeps me out, and he supposedly dies in one of the films but he keeps killing people, which I don't really understand and creeps me out even more!

8. House of Wax (2005)
Paris Hilton doing a striptease. That would be enough to traumatize me but they had to make one of the characters peel off his friend's skin and one of the villains wears a mask, which I am soo scared of.

9. The Messengers (2007)
I just remember those freaky zombi-ish creatures crawling on the ceiling and I actually started laughing when I saw them but when I went to sleep, I was pretty scared and I wished I hadn't seen it.
My raimBow's rating:

I really don't deal well with scary movies. When I was younger, I would be paranoid for a couple of days after watching one and even now, I'm still traumatized by some of these films so I've learned my lesson and I try to stay away from them. It's pretty ridiculous how they freak me out and make me fear everything! I tried to include images but I can't bring myself to look at pictures of some of these movies XD

There's only one scene in the Halloween series that Michael Myers kill a girl in the bathroom, is in Halloween 2 (1981), this is probably the one you watched.

The Exorcist missing from your list? The Shining?
Posted: 8 months, 4 weeks ago at Aug 22 12:51
Oh no I'm not watching the Exorcist, I've seen the pictures and that's well enough for me. As for The Shining, I have seen it many times but it doesn't scare me as much because the pacing is slower and apart from the naked lady, there are no real disgusting monsters.

Ringu is way scarier than the American version.

Thanks for warning me, I will never watch it in that case!

I loved most of these movies!

I'm not easily scared usually, but when I was younger Michael Myers really left a mark, to this day he creeps me out. And the scream mask too, not sure what it is, but I'm still paranoid when it comes to those guys, lol. Jason might come in third.

The shower scenes are pretty creepy too. After seeing the original Psycho when I was younger I couldn't take a shower without being afraid, LOL

A lot of these are good movies though :)

The Ring/Hollow Man/Saw are the ones I've seen and I feel the exact same way! ;o
Scary Movie however not so much, as I'd already seen the Scream films and been traumatized by them ;P
