I agree with you on the new Friday The 13th, it's terrible and I hated it. I recommend you seeing part 1,2,3,4 instead.

The Skeleton Key if I remember correctly, had me "jumpy" for a couple of days...

I almost died watching 'It'. Longest movie ever, gosh.

Nisam ni ja fan al sam ih dosta preživjela,
jel, dovoljno da ih sad glatko izbjegavam:P što uključuje
i Deveta vrata. Meni je taj film prilično strašan, zbog ilustracija valjda...a i izgradi neku atmosferu takvu.

Nice list. Ive seen about half of these movies, only one I will not see is The Exorcise. Ive liked most of the movies on your list. Hostel was a lil on the gross side, but seeing it once was enough for me.

I had many nights of nightmares because of The Langoliers. I was probably 8 when I watched it. :s
Posted: 1 year, 2 months ago at Mar 11 9:24
I watched The Langoliers a long time ago. It is still one of my favourite films. This crazy guy with paper... brrrr :) He is no longer so terrifying like before, but still is a good film.

I don't think the Birds is supposed to be horror, just a heacy thriller. I haven't watched any horror movies, I don't think I could survive. Great list!
Posted: 1 year ago at May 22 5:59
Interesting list - it seems you will not like extreme movies with lots of gore..so I suggest the following ---

more psychological horror than anything

The Haunting - the original 1960s film not the heavy handed re-make
Session 9
Dark Corners
Spider Forest

For jump scares and creepiness - all Asian films as they seem the only people who can do the combination right

Shutter - the original Thai version
Coming Soon
The Re-Cycle

and for all round enjoyment, colourful and fun

Trick R Treat
The Final

the exorcist is still my all time fave :)
Posted: 2 months, 4 weeks ago at Feb 24 14:34
The Exorcist is my favorite, as well. It's so hard to find a truly, scary horror movie in this day and age. For me, horror is spine-chilling and causes dread to ooze from every pore. It has you jumping at the least little sound in your darkened house and gives you nightmares.

These days horror movies are either merely action films with horror motifs (like Resident Evil) or disgusting gore-fests (like Human Centipede or Saw). Only every great once in a while do I find one that is, at it's heart, a true horror movie as they gave us of old.
