Also called The Duel in the US release, Horatio makes his sea debut in this smashing film.
So like he starts out pretty low in the feeding list in Her Majesty's navy but he has a BFF named Archie and they are pretty tight even though Simpson is a big bully. Eventually he signs on a frigate called the Indefatigable and the captain is this chill dude named Pellew. At first everyone's like mean but he earns the men's respect. Somehow Simpson comes back randomly and starts being a mean bully again. So it's up to Horatio to be a man. chibiyusa's rating:
Also called The Fire Ships in the US release.
Pellew is a pretty aight guy and he's like "Horatio, man, you gotta try out for Lieutenant" and Horatio being the man he's like "Aight dude I got this covered." So like these Spanish dudes have magical fire ships that like make fire or something and this isn't cool with the Brits since like the Spainards and Frenchies are BFF now and the Brits and Frenchies don't get along all that much. There's something about the plague and cows in the middle of the ocean and it's up to Horatio to be a man and stuff. And then he has to take the test and he didn't know the question so it was up to him to be the man again. chibiyusa's rating:
So like they capture a random French ship and then Horatio somehow gets control of it. Randomly this lady is here and they have to escort her. Unfortunately these random Spaniards pop up or something and they have to go with them to prison or whatever. He has to be the man and all.
Randomly he finds a pleasant surprise in the Spanish prison in the form of a lost friend. Then somehow the Indy randomly appears. chibiyusa's rating:
Also called The Wrong War in the US release.
Apparently Frogs are the French dudes and Lobsters are the British dudes. I'm not sure what this one was about but somehow the French Revolution has something to do with it and Horatio meets the (first) true love of his life. Once again it's up to him to be the man. chibiyusa's rating:
Particularly memorable for Horatio's Bath Scene. Apparently he had gotten so dirty he just HAD to take a shower in the middle of the ship with all the men crowding around him. I guess it got so hot that everyone decided to mutiny and now Horatio is in trouble.
Luckily he has his BFF Bush now so things are pretty saucy. Someone has to be a man and push the Captain down. Noted for drug use and excessive whipping. chibiyusa's rating:
A continuation from the previous movie. More paranoid sea captains and laudanum use. Blah blah let's attack the Spanish and stuff. But then seamen get distracted by Spanish women so Horatio has to be a man.
Court-martial is srs business. chibiyusa's rating:
Lots of Frenchies in this one and Horatio is Cap'n of a ship so it's pretty manly. Slightly confusing plot twists lead to an engagement of sorts.
chibiyusa's rating:
Bush likes his woman saucy, but Horatio apparently likes them to make mittens and stuff. He really is the man now.
