206 7.5 7.8 O primeiro filme dirigido pelos Irmãos Coen é uma brilhante história sobre a esposa e o amante que fogem do marido, que por sua vez, contrata um assassino para ir atrás deles, mas dá tudo errado para todo mundo desde o começo. Ótima trilha sonora.
The very first film directed by the Coen Brothers is a brilliant work about the wife and her lover, who run away from the husband. The husband hires a killer to go after them, but things go terribly wrong for everybody from the beginning. Great soundtrack. diabolical dr voodoo's rating:
 
98 7.4 7.1 A trama principal foi baseada em Depois Daquele Beijo, de Antonioni. Este filme é claustrofóbico, urgente e você nunca sabe o que vai acontecer. Pessoalmente, um dos meus favoritos de toda essa lista. Uma das jóias mais preciosas de Brian de Palma.
The main plot was based on Antonioni's Blowup, this film is claustrophobic, urgent and you never know what is going to happen next. Personally, one of my favorites in this whole list. One of Brian de Palma's most precious jewels. diabolical dr voodoo's rating:

Another great tribute from Brian de Palma to Hitchcock. This film mixes Psycho and Rear Window (just look at the poster), it even has its own version of the shower scene. diabolical dr voodoo's rating:
 
194 6.5 6.9 Veio atrás do sucesso de Match Point. Nem se compara ao antecessor, mas o filme se salva por ter Ewan McGregor e Colin Farrell que têm uma ótima química como irmãos. Tom Wilkinson também está ótimo como o tio rico. Mas o final é meio previsível.
It came behind the success of Match Point. It doesn't get much close to it's predecessor, but it's saved by Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell who have a great chimestry as brothers. Tom Wilkinson is also great as the rich uncle. Yet, the ending is kind of predictable. diabolical dr voodoo's rating:
995 7.2 7.8 Tom Cruise é um vilão, mau, sem ser exagerado, pelo contrário, ele até é bastante contido quando precisa ser. Um típico homem de negócios. Acontece que o seu "negócio" é matar pessoas. Jamie Foxx também está excelente como o taxista que é contratado pelo personagem de Cruise para encontrar suas vítimas. O ótimo ator espanhol Javier Bardém faz uma ponta como o contratante de Cruise. Michael Mann é com certeza um dos melhores diretores de ação da atualidade.
Tom Cruise is a villain, mean, but no exagerations, for the contrary, he's quite contained when he needs to be. A typical business man, what happens is that his "business" is killing people. Jamie Foxx is also excellent as the taxi driver whom Cruise's character hires to take him to his victims. The great Spanish actor Javier Bardém has a cameo as the man who hires Cruise. Michael Mann is certainly one of the best action directors of the present. diabolical dr voodoo's rating:

718 7.6 8.4 Mais um 'noir' como os filmes de Billy Wilder (Crepúsculo dos Deuses, Dívida de Sangue, etc). Mas ainda assim, tem um suspense bem típico de Hitchcock, o que me fez colocar esse filme nessa lista também. Ótimas atuações de todo o elenco, Guy Pearce, Kevin Spacey, Russel Crowe, Kim Bassinger e James Cromwell.
More of a 'noir' Billy Wilder-like kind of film (Sunset Boulevard, Double Indemnity, etc). But still has the Hitchcock-like suspense, what made me put this great film on this list too. Great acting from everybody in it, Guy Pearce, Kevin Spacey, Russel Crowe, Kim Bassinger and James Cromwell. diabolical dr voodoo's rating:
916 7.3 7.8 Manhattan era o meu filme favorito de Woody Allen. Era. Até 2005. Match Point surpreendeu todo mundo (acredito que até mesmo Woody Allen). Este filme respira Hitchcock por todos os lados. Ótimo suspense, reviravoltas na trama, magistralmente feito. Uma Obra-Prima.

Esta é uma lista inspirada pelo gênio de Alfred Hitchcock, que contém Brian de Palma, assumidamente um dos maiores fãs de Hitchcock no cinema (ele até vestiu um homem de mulher em dois filmes diferentes), tem Almodóvar, que sempre mistura maravilhosamente Hitchcock e Bergman (que, acreditem ou não, tem um filme aqui também). Dois filmes recentes de Woody Allen, François Truffaut, Roman Polanski, Irmãos Coen, Wim Wenders, algumas comédias, incluindo uma de Mel Brooks, continuações, refilmagens, um curta, filmes bons e filmes ruins. E caso tenha esquecido alguma coisa, aceito sugestões! This is a list inspired by the genius of Alfred Hitchcock, which contains Brian de Palma, most recognizably one of Hitchcock's biggest fans in movies (he even dressed a man as a woman in two different films), there's Almodóvar, who always mixes wonderfully well Hitchcock and Bergman (who, believe it or not, has also one film here). There are two recent films of Woody Allen, François Truffaut, Roman Polanski, the Coen Brothers, Wim Wenders, some comedies, including one by Mel Brooks, sequels, remakes, one short, good films and bad films. And in case I've forgotten anything, I accept suggestions.
