The director also made "Paria" (1916) but since it never had any official cinema release and is pretty much unavailable to anyone as the director saw its editing and production as a "mess with too many amateurs behind and infront of the camera" Still picture down below:

Technically a Swedish film but the movie was so based in Norwegian culture and history that it made both critics and audience furious that it was not possible to make these kind of movies in its own country and then kickstarting once and for all Norwegian filmhistory.
First movie in a long wave of movies that romanticed Norwegian culture and its past. This movie is seen as a minor revolution for Norwegian silent film and a major classic for that time. [First Norwegian silent released on Blu-ray by the Norwegian Film Institute]

Director Walter Fyrsts directorial debut. Some see this as the best movie that was produced during the silent era in Norway. Especially the camerawork and use of Norwegian nature has been seen as excellent.

Rasmus Breistein directed this drama that got less positive reviews than "Brudeferden i Hardanger" mostly because critics did not want to have another national romantic silent movie
A huge flop for director Tancred Ibsen, but at least he got to experiment with picture and sound and learn from this mistake that is largely forgotten now.
First film produced in a professional film studio. Comedy directed by Tancred Ibsen and Einar Sissener after Finn Bøs comedic play. Include music numbers.
Sonja Wigert was one of Norways best actors (at least in real life) as she played a double agent under WW2 and did it so well that she was frozen out of Norway to Sweden as many thought she was a German collaberator.
I have only seen five films from this list but I'm very impressed by how many there are. I added this to my world cinema list and hopefully I will watch at least a few more film from Norway :)
