i'm a fan of different studio logos like RKO, Universal and MGM because they have all changed over the decades and i was surprise to see that the lion logo was created in the 1910's i thought it had been created in the 1930's. great useful list Brad i learn something today. : )

Very interesting!! Thanks!

The 4th lion is the best, hands down. I imagine they probably tried to piss it as much as possible so they could get the loudest roar from it.

The others seem tame in compassion.

Great lists, this one and the othee ones about the logos.
Anyway, Gone With the Wind was shot in color, not colorized.

Can't imagine 2001: A Space Odyssey with the typical roaring lion. Whenever I see that blue lion logo I know it's 2001. I wonder if it was ever used for another MGM film?
