Bowie's eyes are actually the same colour but one of his pupils is permanently dilated which makes the eye look darker than the other. :) http://www.listal.com/viewimage/785143
Maybe I should give him an honourable mention because he's the first person most people think of when talking about different colour eyes. :D

Description

Heterochromia of the eye (heterochromia iridis or heterochromia iridum) is of two kinds. In complete heterochromia, one iris is a different color from the other. In partial heterochromia or sectoral heterochromia, part of one iris is a different color from its remainder.
