Inspired by the giraffe's Help me lower my IQ this summer list, I've decided to create a similar list. I have steadily increasing stock of DVDs and Blu-rays that I'm struggling to figure out which films I should watch.

Therefore, I need you help!
I need you to pick out 10 films from this list that you think I should have seen already. Number 1 will get 10 points, number 10 will get 1 point. You also have the chance to list two films you think I should avoid. They will lose one point each.

I've seen some of them sometimes before, but that's not the point.

Since this list increases so fast, you get the chance to vote once a week!

When I'm done seeing a film, I will remove it from this list and post it in my Film Diary.

Well, I'll stick with film that I've seen, though there are a number of movies that I'm tempted to vote for simply because I'm curious to read your thoughts on them once you've watched it. But my favorites here in order are:

1. Double Indemnity
2. The Darjeeling Limited
3. Roman Holiday
4. The Skin I Live In
5. A Separation
6. The Emperor's New Groove
7. Sabrina
8. Sideways
9. May
10. Brazil

The two I'd say you need not bother with are Phantom Menace and Salt.

I'd say definately avoid Inland Empire. Lynch at his absolute worst. The Two Jakes is also friggin awful, so that'd be the second one.

Avoid:
The Other Guys

I love Sideways, and From Paris with Love is really enjoyable action flick because of John Travolta. But holy shit the Other Guys. That movie sucks so much, that I don't even have the words to describe it. Marky Mark is just yelling and Will Ferrell is just pure shit like he always are.
