That's a pretty comprehensive list, although I would definately add Europa (Lars von Trier, 1991) and From Hell (Albert Hughes, 2001) to that list. Also, if you're going to include Le Samourai, you might as well include Le cercle rouge (Jean-Pierre Melville, 1970). They're so close to close to being in the same vein that had the original ending to Le Samourai been used in the final cut, Le cercle rouge almost could have been a sequel. In the final analysis, though, I think probably the most glaring omissions are The Good German (Steven Soderbergh, 2006), Brick (Rian Johnson, 2005), and The Black Dahlia (Brian De Palma, 2006).
I like Le Samourai, Fargo, L.A Confidential, Blue Velvet, Blade Runner, Seven, etc.
