Greatest Death Scenes

Another hilarious and iconic death. The snivelling lawyer is eaten whole by the T-Rex while he sits on the toilet.

Dr X is completely obliterated.

After a touching final stand against the Prince, D'Artagnan jumps into the blade intended to stab his son Phillipe. Hero.

8. Volcano

A random train driver jumps off a train into a river of lava in order to throw a guy to safety. He melts away from the leg up..horrific.

9. Gladiator

Even with a severe stab wound, Maximus insures the death of Emperor Commodus before dying from his wounds, his dead wife and son flashing before his eyes.

10. Braveheart

Wallace is partially hung, tortured and disemboweled, and his finally beheaded. Dying for a cause, and in a long, drawn-out fashion.

11. No Country for Old Men

Most of these deaths are pretty impressive. In particular, without warning Chigurh shoots an old man in the head with a air-pressure cattle gun.

12. Poseidon

Kurt Russell in the best drowning I have ever seen...dies to save the others.

13. Kill Bill: Vol. 2

The five point palm exploding heart technique is finally executed and Bill knowingly walks five paces to his death.

14. True Romance

Walken, being a general legend shoots Dennis Hopper in the head at point blank.

15. Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Judge Doom is really a toon! He dissolves, screaming in a puddle of his own DIP.
