Despite the fact that this movie won an Oscar and is in the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, I still think this movie belongs on the list because besides that I don't hear many people talk about this movie. This is a unique thriller with excellent performances from Donald Sutherland and Jane Fonda.

moviewatcher122's rating:

People who added this item 43  Average listal rating (27 ratings) 5.8  IMDB Rating 4.7
47. Club Paradise (1986)

"I heard about this guy in Cicero, well he stiffed a loanshark, so a couple of these guys got him, cut off his arm, beat him to death with the arm, and shoved it in a food processor and made a dip out of it. Then they served it to his family at his sister's wedding. And the sister loved it so much, she wanted the recipe. It's a crazy world, isn't it?"

"Tree, what's happenin'?"
[Tree offers Jack marijuana]
"Oooooh, no thanks. Last time I smoked that stuff they found me on top of the Sears tower trying to build a nest."

If you found these quotes funny then watch this movie since this is a very underrated comedy that doesn't deserve the low IMDB rating it has. I think it should have at least a 6.5 since it was written by Harold Ramis and Brian Doyle-Murray, the same guys that wrote Caddyshack.

moviewatcher122's rating:

People who added this item 53  Average listal rating (32 ratings) 6.4  IMDB Rating
50. The Believers (1987)

This movie is insane. It was scary as hell and Martin Sheen was very good in this movie.

My goal is to make this list an awesome way to find obscure movies.

Scarecrow is an amazing film with exceptional performances from Gene Hackman and Al Pacino. It is so underated.

The original verions of The Taking of Pelhan One Two Three and Assault On Pecinct 13 are brilliant action movies.

I agree that Assault On Precinct 13 is one of Carpenter's best action films but Big Trouble in Little China has got everything for me so it just tips it.

I also agree with you on Prom Night. It's a very entertaining slasher. There is so much tension in the scenes towards the end, with the disco music blaring in the background. It works so well!

Nice List!
