Well, I was going to update this at the same time as creating a film list for Spain but... it didn't work out that way. Seems I have quite a bit of film watching to catch-up on. Still, thanks for the help from some friends not on Listal.

You're welcome! :) I'd have to recommend Daniel and Ana... also, I don't know if it'd belong on this list, but Pan's Labyrinth, despite being set in Spain, was made in Mexico and by a Mexican director/crew, and when it was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, it was Mexico's submission.
Ah... ha! You are right! I had Pan's Labyrinth on the list but moved it off thinking it was better suited for a list of films from Spain but... I should have known better since "Biutiful" is also set in Spain but was Mexico's Oscar submission.
