This is the bad stuff about movie industry. They can do a really good trailers, for (sometimes) a really bad movies. You see all the good action, good lines, flick has a promise, and you want to see it... You wait, go do the cinema and... yes, you've expected much, much more...
these are my favorite trailer's for a disappointing movies
The 'Jumper' trailer might be the example on here. Notice how they give the lead protagonist, Hayden Christensen, only two lines in the whole trailer, and everyone else has several, because he is an amazingly horrible actor and that lose everyone's interest in the movie if they witnessed his "acting".
Transformers is probably the second best example; but I actually still liked 'Mr. Brooks' and 'The Break-Up' oh well.

You really thought that those movies (Transformers 2, Black sheep, Austin Powers 3, Friday the 13th) would be great after watching the trailers ?!?
