GLBTA Books
My favorite Allen Ginsberg poems are America, Howl and the (footnote to Howl), and A Supermarket in California. Mr. Saturn's rating:
This edition restores the gay parts of the book originally edited out.
A novel about sexual promiscuity written before the AIDS crisis.
An American expatriate in Paris has a 'normal' relationship with a woman and this becomes complicated when he finds he yearns for the Italian expatriate Giovanni.
A heroin addict has an unreciprocated love for another junkie.
Marcel Proust was gay, but I think the protagonist isn't gay.
Books whose characters aren't GLBTA
Books whose characters aren't GLBTA or the book doesn't mention it. I also put books here if I don't know if the characters are queer.

I think that Anais Nin's "Ladders to Fire" and "Henry and June" could fit the list,as they refer to woman on woman action, among others.
