"Schlag auf Schlag" (= Stroke upon Stroke)
I didn't watch Beyblade constantly but it was enjoyable and I liked the monsters and the overall design. Strangely enough I know every Beyblade song by heart and man, the opening is just catchy.
"Die Liebe kann nicht warten" (= Love cannot wait)
I really loved watching 'Case Closed' and rarely missed an episode. So I could also sing along to every opening . Actually I liked them all pretty much until this 5th one, which I always considered kinda funny since Conan is dancing. Still it's beautiful.
When there was the 12th opening I stopped watching the series on German telivision so I don't know about what followed.
"Leb' deinen Traum" (= Live your dream)
Oh how I adore the Digimon Opening Songs. They just bring back so many memories and I'm really glad that they kept the japanese melody. My friends and I used to sing this all day long~!
(Here's a slightly higher-pitched version though...)
"Ich werde da sein" (= I will be there)
It's the same wonderful feeling with every Digimon opening, like I already mentioned. And although the japanese version is the one and only for me this is my childhood and I'll never get those catchy tunes and lyrics out of my head anymore.
"Wenn das Feuer in dir brennt" (= When the fire's burning in you)
With me skipping the 3rd season for no particular reason I continued with the 4th and did enjoy it really much. The whole german soundtrack of that season was really good as well. (Although I must say I still enjoy listening to the 3rd opening as well, I just didn't watch the series.)
"Das Geheimnis der Dragon Balls" (= The Dragon Balls' secret)
I was weird and did not persist with this popular Anime but just hearing this song makes me content. In the beginning I still watched it after all.
"Alles dreht sich um Hamtaro" (= Everything revolves around Hamtaro)
I started watching Hamtaro when I must have appeared way too old for it but it was cute and there were so many characters so I started watching it faithfully till the very end and I will never get this intro out of my head as well. (Youtube is a b****, as well as all the other video hosting sites, so here's just the song..what a pity.)
"Flieg durch die Zeit" (= Fly through Time)
Ah, there we go with the goosebumps again. That's probably not because of the pop beat but just the amount of nostalgia. I used to follow this series for quite a while and then they decided to pause Inuyasha for some time and then I din't watch any telly anymore anyways.
"Was ist Zeit?" (= What is Time?)
Oh, I think I love the second opening even more than the first one! And guess what? I remember the lyrics perfectly but in my everyday life I cannot remember most of the useful things. What the hell?! xD
"Wie ein Stern" (= Like a Star)
I consider this one of the most beautiful and well-done german anime openings. Everyone loved it and also learned to love the series (the intro was so endearing C;). At that time anime in Germany was still alright...
"Warte nicht zu lang" (= Don't wait too long)
The intro is actually not very inventive but I enjoyed the series so I automatically liked the opening and now it will also be stuck in my head forever. Too bad I never actually played the games o_o but the Megaman in the series was cute (haha). No visuals for this one as well. :(
"Die Legende" (= The Legend)
One Piece was such a classic and everyone was hyping it to the max. And then there were a thousand more seasons but I still enjoyed it. I just couldn't keep up with it until the very end because it's STILL continuing (like all that Shonen Jump stuff*cough*BLeach*cough*Naruto*cough*).
Anyways I loved the first bunch of openings and the first one is still the best imho because it started everything. ;)
"Komm schnapp sie dir" (= Gotta catch'em all)
This is a natural, epic classic. I don't know how that happened. I personally watched the series and found it more and more abysmal but the openings...gawd, they are so good. (Up to a certain point at least)
"Pokémon Welt" (= Pokémon World)
This is actually my favourite Intro.
Until the 5th season the openings are truly wonderful but then it gets worse.... German people trying to rap by thinking of random rhyming words and that kind of stuff...So still with not seeing anything besides the first season I consider the Poké-Intros an epicocity. :3
(Youtube will not support me once again so here you go with some other link)
"Nur wir beide" (= Only the two of us)
I do not know why I watched this. That must've been the girl in me, haha. I never missed a single episode of this random Shojo-Anime since it wasn't too long so that it wouldn't get tedious. (Little did I know that in Japan there would be a whole pile of Pretty Cure sequels/prequels/anything-adaptions.) The intro song made it absolutely worth watching. Extremely girly-power-puff-sparkly-magical-pink-something and soooo catchy. You get me, ay? ;)
"Genau wie du" (=(Exactly) Like you)
Also a series which I did follow till it was canceled on Berlin TV. I should have continued watching it on the Internet after all, shame on me. Anyway the 1st opening always remained the best. It was a perfect to get access to the series. Fun times~ ♥
"Yu-Gi-Oh! Thema"(= Yu-Gi-Oh! Theme)
The theme just had this mystical touch to it. Since it perfectly fit the series they never really changed it with any season. The intro didn't have very much songtext and one could never correctly sing it because the voices were deformed. Still somehow the outcome was great and epic. :)
(Although I bet the japanese one is better like always C;)
Kami-chan's rating:
These anime series accompanied me through my childhood and I'm not gonna lie, I'm getting goosebumps just when hearing the openings. Those are the only pop songs I'm proudly listening to ♥
So I know that's a bit stupid for all the people who do not understand German but maybe you can compare some openings with the one in your language and still find it interesting, no? :)
I just felt the need to post this :3
