I felt things.

This description is for this list in general. A number of my comments are really dumb and sometimes even hateful but I want the freedom to do that.

This story is pretty common in gay themed short films, that of a gay youth having one sided feelings for a friend.

I especially enjoyed the scene where the friend asked what was wrong and how the other young person looked at him with deep longing and replied, "nothing."

I recall this same sort of emotion shown in silence in another gay themed short, After by Eytan Fox.

Men to Kiss (2012)
This satisfied my craving for gay romance.

I'm ashamed to say that I enjoyed the sex scene.
Though this isn't considered a perfect or great gay movie, I still enjoyed it for what it was.

This made me more interested in another gay romance comedy made in the same world, Alex and Leo.

The high rating is to how happy this made me. Movies somehow can do that.

A considerably quality comedy film which the gay movie genre is a bit lacking.

From beginning to end, this was quite funny all throughout.

Satisfied my eternal craving for gay romance.

The ending made me smile deep inside. This also makes me sad as I'll probably have to shuffle through many other gay dramas to experience this feeling again.

My strategy is to watch a couple less happy gay movies before watching a happy one. Happy gay movies feel like they are lacking.

Wrestling (2007)
I really enjoy watching films where there is this specific deep feeling shared between two men. This is a tiny bit funny, quite sad, and there is a feeling of intimacy there.

The scene at the dinner table when the married man speaks his feelings toward the other man a bit more loudly was quite heart warming
The ending scene was also pretty strong where they held each other in public, in their wrestling uniforms.

Fudge reviewers who need their realism!

I somewhat do enjoy watching these films for the sexual aspect and this is quite sexual, a bit dirty as well. Here is an opinion based on personal preference, the dude at the end who possibly represents potential freedom for the protagonist is very unattractive. He distracts me from the supposed hopeful ending.

A film with a similar theme is Head On.
I pretty much just focused my attention on the sexual aspect so I'm not much of a source of an intellectual opinion.

I didn't try hard to watch this seriously.

An artistic and mostly silent film that I didn't have patience for. The first sex scene, was heterosexual, MEH., I made no attempt to understand what went on until after that was all over. My sexual self enjoyed the sexual intimate scene between the main lovers. The heterosexual sex scene was probably meant to be symbolic. The main pair supposedly instantly knew they were meant for each other or something. I think it is annoying to think of realistic depictions of relationships in films and the amount of people who need to comment on that.

The sexual scenes were steamy as perhaps they should be when music and drugs are involved.

The philosophy of Fogi that concerned youth, which may be common to other musicians, fueled the destruction of both of them. This seemed to be the driving force of the story and I thought this story was an interesting one.

As usual, I want to be free to talk about what happens.
The young attractive cop was shown very likely to be the culprit.
After watching this, this pretty much killed me.
I totally wanted to see them kiss, the supposed sexual tension I saw or imagined between them kept me interested, I sort of thought the characters were simply going to be heterosexual.
Well, one of them was probably simply manipulative.

Contains heterosexual sex which is expected in movie where a straight guy has questionable feelings for another man. God I hate these scenes.

Mentioning cop mysteries with some romancing...
Autopsy also killed my heart dead.
Very very dead.
The lower rating is due to how much this made me feel sad.
The story, characters, acting, writing are considerably good.

I find it weird when gay romances aren't about two men falling in love and deciding that they should be together by the end. The alternative is empty meaningless shallow fantasy? Is that really alright? Real life is probably a bit lower than the middle of these.

This is a story about a forbidden relationship in a culture that is bound and completely engrossed in rules. Being placed in these worlds restricts one's ability to live and feel but I wouldn't consider that wrong. Though people have the ability to choose and think, change might be impossible.

If this happened in real life, the older man's life is probably doomed to be like a life that is lived by many others. I question the value of such lives, how perpetually the same they are and will continue to be. Liberal thoughts probably.

Interesting story, quite well done.
I'll repeat some of what I've read from the imdb reviews.

It was depicted that the main character had a closeness to his family and home, especially to his mother, father, and older brother. Only a few times in his youth, he had some intimate homosexual encounters, one of them shown in the current poster, but he doesn't show any sense of happiness or, perhaps, freedom when he is seen as an adult. The writer of the book said that the actor needed act as if he was full of uncertainty at this time.

Xenia (2014)
I'll mostly talk about the gay stuff though this is only partially 60% gay.

A cute young gay twink finds his older brother to find their father after their mother died. Of course his older brother is pretty hot too, so the younger brother can't help but glance at his naked body.

This is mostly in the perspective of the younger brother who often goes to do fun gay stuff, drugs excluded even.

Pretty funny and I obviously didn't dislike the very gay younger brother.

Futuro Beach (2014)
The story about a lifeguard who follows his lover and decides to live on his own at Berlin, leaving behind his obligations to his mother and siblings.

The movie was simply fine, I wasn't too much interested in it as I didn't watch it for the drama.

Dumb thoughts now:
I only really care to watch movies where the gay relationship is really really prominent instead of dramas for personal reasons. But really, of course I can't have that, all these movies can't be that.

My thoughts and opinions are mostly shallow, I want people to know that I know that. I didn't think that the lead was attractive until he grew facial hair and had his hair longer. My thoughts aren't deep. *snorts*

Spoilers I'll just jump into it.
the main character dies.
The straight man he romances apparently stabs him, right at the end.
HEART MURDERING

Depicted quite a bit of homosexual love but there was also this hatred of it.

I would have loved if the love triangle ended up as it did in The Sex of Angels, except significantly better as this triangle wasn't bisexual, I would have loved it. Nope, that would've been extremely unrealistic.

I expected this level of drama from countries that are less central, german, french, british, spanish films are often more hopeful.

Any hope of having a great film like this where I don't get fucking murdered? Feels like a cold hard no. I greatly dislike being hit with a death. Death seems to very important to these other countries, frankly I'm sick and tired of it. Death is common to drama? People seem stuck on thinking that.

In a real life situation, we would never give such a person any sort of forgiveness nor would he ever be able to earn it.

A recent non-central European gay film that ended slightly less heart murdering was In the Name of, but the films aren't similar.

Ah, this was pretty satisfying.

A musical involving a from-the-past british researcher made immortal by the fountain of youth researching "Patient Zero", the person who was labeled as the person who brought over AIDs to North America. Also, Patient Zero comes back as a ghost.

Just a small bit of romance makes me happy. Mentioning ghosts, Undertow was a heartkilling drama. A Magnificent Haunting also had a nice bit of ghost romance but it also didn't end in the romantic way I want all gay romance movies to end.

This didn't end that way either. Wasn't the focus of the film either.

This was extremely haunting. The main character was that kind of man who liked young teens sexually, he isn't creepy either, but I wasn't much bothered by that. What scared me about this film was that the older man was waiting to die while the young men he learned about killed each other.

I don't much know about how realistic this is, perhaps the first younger man was too comfortable in shooting people, but the violence didn't look out of place.

The young men in this film were actually gang members and it was noted that it was feared that they were probably dead by now.

The imdb board has made me learn some information about something I generally dislike.

I read imdb reviews so I'll bring up some things from there.
Interesting film about homophobia in a small town in America. Coming out before adulthood should be questioned still for gay youth because of all negative things are still possible for them including the possible things that may come from their own friends and family. Regardless, these young people need support. Unfortunately, some youths come out of the closet by ways they didn't choose.

The message was that it was important to be yourself. Side note: not in professional/certain places where you resigned yourself to suppress/kill your self/soul, it is a person's decision/choice to do this.

The marriage debate about opening the gateway for less desirable things is incredibly disgusting because the people involved in the relationship are consenting human adults. This should be incredibly obvious and common sense.

Confronting closed minded people does not help bring about change, people simply being themselves, simply being good members of the community does. In the film, there was a gradual change for the positive in the pastor, that was significant in how change can be made.

I'm one of those guys who often gets bored and impatient with movies but I managed to sit through most of this and I didn't dislike this honestly. The intimacy, the background of these characters, the characters themselves, they were all depicted quite well. It was a bit slow at times but the pace was okay I guess.

moody and sad coming of age film. made me feel empty.
reminded me of the movie Light Gradient which was also about a young gay couple. The same sort of feeling of a couple wandering off in the woods on their own, together.

Yep, apparently, he's attracted to him. the other dude is a bit fucked up though. A truly pitiable person. The main lead was patient and mature where the other one threw an array of "curve balls" as a comment at imdb mentioned.

A korean high school student is told to focus on studying to get into a top university. Suffering from this stress, he looks at an old friend he had in middle school. More than that, he has a crush on him. Unfortunately, his old friend is a part a delinquent gang.

Quite more realistic than other crummy asian films I watched, this was quite refreshing. Not much of a romance but that didn't bother me. Too much romance would perhaps destroy my suspension of belief.

This gets really sad when they are betrayed and things get violent.

I pretty much watched this all the way through. It was pretty good.

An aspiring actor who is dealing with depression tries to fix his relationship with his boyfriend.

Well, after the official end of their relationship, I felt a sense of freedom from the main character. I'm sad-ish at the end though.

The beginning felt a bit odd as it was two men being intimate and in love, perhaps it didn't set the overall tone of the film well

Her son is currently having trouble at the Chinese restaurant that he owns and cooks for and in his escape from his daily stress he meets a musician in a band.

Not so very romancy but less over the top as John Apple Jack. This movie simply ends in a movieish way. The gay scenes are somehow stronger in this film than John Apple Jack which was more about the gay romance.

George Takei does not have an important role in this which is great as he is like the symbol of American Asian LGBT. I also skipped around White Frog which was also about an Asian American family but the only other similar thing is the gay son.

Oh, this has a higher imdb rating than I expected.

la piedra, the gray stone that is the basis of many giants.
eh, I just wanted to say something like that.

An architect is not progressing in his work and the business man who has hired him recommends him to meet with a tour guide/history teacher in hopes to inspire him.

I skipped the family drama bits. The main character develops feelings for the other man though he has been with women for most of his life. deals with the grey area in a way that I can deal with it. Or I didn't care about that at all and only felt that the main character was confused with what he was feeling and the stress that is put on him by his job.

oh darn it, I developed a preference to international movies over american/canadian ones.
The ending left me with a feeling of uncertainty. Well, the relationship probably doesn't continue. sure, i'm a bit frustrated at the ending.

also, though the movie poster thingie is pretty good, the one in red is never clean shaven.

the relationship seems to just begin somehow and I feel like I can compare this to a film that is romance-ish, Hawaii, though Hawaii was slower paced, and it it does nicely without as much drama.

Right to the point that I hate, a gay man even being mentioned of having sex with a woman and even fathering a child, a trope that is common to these movies, a trope I hate utterly.

This is a story of a performance troupe in 1978 Brazil where the troupe leader develops a relationship with an 18 year-old soldier.

I skipped the non-gay story stuff.

The main character is mainly this leader and we mostly see the kind of shows that his troupe does and what this troupe does on it's off time. The gay aspect is about... 1/3 of this movie, not prominent but not lacking of it either. I didn't find myself much invested in their relationship.

This isn't the type of movie for me but if you like the glamour and somewhat hedonistic (I'm not good at describing things) culture of a Brazilian theatre troupe, I suppose this would interest you.

A place where I freely talk about what I had thought about the movies I have watched.

A bunch of comments are EXTREME DUMB AND STUPID, EVEN HATEFUL.

Again, I dislike a certain type of people and that is part of what makes me stupid and annoying. Not added in order.

My plan for watching these movies is often to not read any details about the movie itself leading me to watching a large number of movies where I would hate them the instant it does one of the things in my hate list.
